"Not sure how true this is but just read labour plan to allow eu nationals living in the uk to vote in a second referendum ?"

Let's see. The Tories said this. They have a track record of spreading lies and misinformation about Labour. Especially during this election.

This would require a huge change in the law, would have wide ranging implications about how voting works in the UK.

Labour haven't said anything about it.

Hmmmm. Could it just be more bullshit?

"I don’t know yet that’s why I put it on here it popped up on my fone newsfeed the thing is I wouldn’t be suprised that’s how sad labour are now "

And this is how fake news starts and spreads.

I wish they would make up more interesting stuff. Like. "Corbyn plans to colonise the moon by 2024".

That’s a lie Corbyn already has a moon base .With WMDs aimed at CCHQ and the Israeli embassy in London .The inter web sent me a telegram all about it.

I also received an inter web communication that said Boris Johnson likes them very young and Asian that’s why he can’t declare all the children he has because the mothers aren’t 18 yet and he has an election to win .

I thought I would post it here as I’m not sure if any of it is true ...Better safe than sorry if you have kids in the vicinity of Boris who are Asian and there’s no smoke on the moon without fire..

Just sayin..

Warminster

It was a motion passed at the Labour Party conference in September.

Labour members have voted overwhelmingly to give full voting rights to all UK residents, committing the party to extend the franchise to millions of immigrants.

As well as extending voting rights, the text commits a future Labour government to closing all immigration detention centres, ending “no recourse to public funds” policies and seeking to extend free movement rights to people around the world.

The motion also opposed immigration systems based on a person’s income or “utility to big business”, and any caps or targets on the number of people moving to the UK.

It was in the Guardian so it must be true

I guess Labours slogan of

'for the many not the few'

refers to the few being the British and the many being the entire world population. !!

Appears this is not being disputed by many people and is in fact being reported as true on news channels.

As a British citizen I feel hugely let down by the Labour party.

Well, I'm honoured that you want to hear my opinion.

The truth is, I haven't followed this story, so I have no idea what the truth of it is. It's not a story I find that interesting.

I stand by my initial scepticism around anything negative from the media about Labour and Corbyn. They've cried wolf too many times for me.

Ace.

And no, genuinely not a labour supporter. I don't mind if you believe me or not, there isn't much I can do about it. But I am genuinely interested if someone has some good reasons not to vote Labour.

I don't recall saying anything in favour of labour.

I poked fun at the people who keep claiming that Corbyn is cancelling Christmas or that he knifed Pingu. But I'm not sold on labour as a party.

The resolution seems pretty sensible. If someone is living long term in this country, with their family, having a say seems fair.

However, that resolution says nothing about getting it done really quickly, ready for a second referendum.

That would be part of Project Smear...
