Corbyn -You cannot deny the facts - another great article in todays national press . The truth hurts

From an article to day in the national press .

It is interesting to see that not only did Jeremy Corbyn find housing for a known terrorist , he also arranged funding for a project in order to give the terrorist concerned employment . The project created two full time positions , one was given to a convicted terrorist just released from prison for manufacturing bomb making equipment , the other to another terrorist whose wife was involved in assisting prisoners to escape from the maze prison ,

Any decent person would find the eagerness with which Corbyn mixes with terrorists alarming . Just thirteen days after an attack which killed five Conservative delegates , Corbyn invited two convicted terrorists into the House of Commons .

Challenged by a newspaper about the visit , Corbyn at first denied it . But when weeks later this lie was exposed and the story confirmed , he was unapologetic saying “ I would be prepared to meet “

Corbyn remains close friends with the identified terrorist and in 2009 they travelled together to Gaza

Why is this "news"? If every aspect of this article happened in the past and has already been covered.

National Press. Or the daily propaganda machine?

Maybe because he is in the running to lead this country and a lot of young voters know nothing of his past associations.

I don't think Jeremy Corbyn knows about half of them either.

I have to say fair play to the OP, who continues with this rhubarb no matter what. The sheer inability to understand that he's just repeating the same old same old propaganda is outstanding.

Imagine if you put this level of determination into something good. Think of what you could achieve in life.

I think you should look at the definition of propaganda.

When I first learned of these so called ties to terrorism I went online to try and get to the truth. On the first fact check he did in fact meet the person involved. Two days later that same person was in 10 downing street.

It occurs to me that no matter who is charge of labour there would be a smear campaign against that person.

It says a lot that Boris Johnson is such a piece of work that a man has to be made out to be a terrorist to be made to look worse.

It amazes me that so close to an election people still can't spot stories orchestrated by people with political agendas.

What do you think of Donald Trump attending an IRA fund-raiser in New York?

I do not think Mr Corbyn has ever donated money to the IRA.

I do wonder if it's a Tory strategy to spew so much bullshit that anything said by anybody is then discounted.

To be fair this could be said for most of the regular posters in the politics forum. You all have your entrenched positions and you all bang your same old drums, every day, different threads but same bile on every side. You are all preaching to either those on your side or to those that will never be shifted. If you all left this little fab bubble and actually spoke to other people, in a reasonable manner, then maybe you could advance your cause. Whatever it may be.

Hi. Whilst you are entitled to express an opinion out in the real world I have the choice of accepting either your opinion or the facts as scheduled in the newspaper concerned.

Whilst the press are subject to rigorous reporting standards , you can post anything that you like on these forums regardless of its validity.

The fact that in excess of 1.1 million people are prepared to purchase the newspaper concerned on a daily basis is more than good enough for me to accept its creditability. Any keyboard warrior can make a post on these forums , at least with newspapers you have to go out and make the effort to purchase. You may even be able to extract interesting information from your newsagent . I purchase newspapers in a number of different locations in the UK. One actually knows John Mc Donnell.

There is a difference between violent state craft, imperialism for example and the Israeli occupation of Gaza. And the deliberate targeting of non- combatant women and children by a terrorist. For Boris, (and it pains me to say this) to be in the same league as Corbyn, he'd have to shake hands with Brenton Tarrant, buy his book, leave a good review, then invite him round for dinner. Before giving him a tour of the new Zealand house of parliament. Then take £5k from him.

Well its an interesting point but my argument has always been that Boris is not up to the job because he is a habitual liar whereas Corbyn has always engaged with people who are either close to or on the wrong side of the law. I dont think that makes him evil as most of the neo con alt right would have you believe and the self serving propaganda they are pushing out reminds me of the Macarthy era whose anti communist terror led to hundreds of intelligent and thoughtful people having their careers blighted or being forced to leave the country and in some cases being sentenced to death. The perception that Corbyn is the equivalent of Stalin or Mao is so ludicrous that only the genuinely thick or deliberately venomous would buy into it. He isn’t my favourite person but at least he isnt a fat lying braggard whose sole intention is to make this country great by making a free for all for the uber wealthy while proposing to spend money in a bonanza that when looked at with a calculated eye doesnt even bring investment back to pre austerity levels while ignoring the fact that with inflation the investment is still less than is necessary for say the NHS to stand still. Its utter lies and deceit and some of the donkeys on this forum are either incapable of understanding that or really are so up their own selves that they couldn’t actually give a flying one about the implications of a Tory win. No problem! It's nice when people debate without getting personal. shows intelligence.

You're correct. However, I'll be voting labour. Do i think Corbyn is an anti semite, who sympathises with terrorists? Yes. Well, kinda. He's anti establishment. He's anti American influence. This stance will make him seem anti jew. I don't think he is on a personal level. But he is anti Israel for sure. He's also a Marxist which would account for his support of the IRA, CND, and XR. Etc. He may not support the violence, but he does support the ideology.

Divided many lands

You have terrorized their people

You ruled with an iron hand.

And you brought this reign of terror to my land.

Sorry for the rant Clem....it wasnt aimed at you.... I enjoy your posts

If he's a Marxist he's not a very good one - compare and contrast Attlee's manifesto with the current Labour one if you want to see what I mean....

I'd class him as a true centrist, its just that nowadays "centrist" has been revised to mean "marginally left of Rees-Mogg"....

Well you have Nelson Mandela who refused to condemn violence and supported the South African Communist Party a Nobel peace prize winner... and considered to be one of the greatest people who ever lived.

Then you have Corbyn who is a socialist not a marxists, who condemned IRA bombings who is public enemy #1.

How do people reconcile simultaneous opposing standards?
