Then again, it might be funny to see this link posted whenever anybody tries to defend Johnson's blatant bullshit.

Accusing Boris of lying is missing the point.

He most likely does lie, a lot.

But he's the only person that can save us from Corbyn's extremist, hate-filled front bench.

Read Johnson's lies for yourself if you wish. They're all there to see. They're damning.

And Johnson + his lot are the ones promoting hatred. Not Corbyn's lot. Johnson's many insults against many groups are easy to find too.

As for extremism, this current bunch of Tories are dragging their party so far to the extreme right that even many Tories are disgusted by them. The link I posted about Johnson's lies was actually put together by a former chief political commentator of the Telegraph. A man who'd normally be as Tory as can be. What does that tell you?

Likewise plenty of ex Labour people feel the same!

70 of them today, lining up to testify Corbyn is a racist. How do you explain that?

We freely acknowledge Boris is a liar. It's not ideal, but it's certainly no deal breaker.

You don't care that the Tory leader is an inveterate liar. And you don't care he has a long and documented history of making racist, sexist and homophobic comments. I'm guessing you also don't care that the Tories have run the NHS into the ground, hugely increased homelessness and poverty either. Got it.

On the flip side, Cobyn has a long history of standing up to racism. But hey he must be antisemitic because some right wing smear said so.

"Do even Johnson supporters now admit he's a blatant bullshitter?"

Tory voters would still vote for him if he shat in their mouths provided that he gives them what they want. There is NOTHING he could do to change their vote.

What is honour in this day and age? About as valuable as spit.

I was wondering what Johnson could do to stop Tories blindly voting for him. I couldn't think of much. It's v odd. Especially as some of the things he's done would normally turn off Tory voters.

Lying? Nope. He's done loads of that. He even lied to the Queen.

Incompetence? He's displayed plenty of that in his working life. They still want him.

Sex scandals? Nope. He's had a few of them.

Drugs use? Again, he admitted to that. They still don't care.

Breaking the law? Well the drug use was obviously illegal. Proroguing parliament in the way he did it was deemed unlawful. Nope. Tories still want him.

What's left? What does the poor man have to do to actually get out of the job of being pm?

Apparently in 1978 he said he disapproved of Israeli government influencing the BBC into making reports justifying the creation of the Israeli state.

I personally saw that as an objection to foreign governments influencing our media. But some have seen this as the ultimate Antisemitic statement. There's a thread on it.

In reaction to this:

Over 200 Jewish members and supporters of the Labour party sign a letter urging that anyone seeking an end to bigotry and racism should back Labour and Corbyn

"It is in this context that we welcome the Labour party’s endorsement of freedom of expression on Israel and on the rights of Palestinians. Labour is correct to recognise that while prejudice against Jewish people is deplorable, criticism of Israel’s government and policies can and must be made."

Probably because he is extremely talented. , highly educated and treats people with respect. We can safely ignore all the so called databases of his lies . The are simply written out of sheer desperation in an attempt to discredit him . It is simply a case of scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

He did a great job as mayor of London and will probably be one of the greatest pms ever.

He also respects democracy and will implement the result of the referendum.

Let the good times roll. They are just about to begin and everyone will be a winner.

I'm still waiting on any actual proof Corbyn is racist from the Johnson supporters.

Here's the sort of thing a racist might say:

He might compare women in burqas to letterboxes or say they look like bank robbers. He might call black people picaninnies with watermelon smiles. All things Johnson has said, by the way.

Boris is the acceptable face of racism in this country.

Thats why even with all the bullshit he churns out, his prejudices are a vote winner in many areas of the country.

He’s only saying what many people believe anyway. That’s why he will win, he’s made it acceptable.

It doesn’t matter if he has token ethnics in his government, as long as they are subservient and don’t hold the highest office in the land thats what counts in his and other peoples minds.

Alternately, you could actually look at Johnson's many lies and judge the man based on his own words. You could also judge his worthiness for high office based on his incompetetence in various jobs. But that would involve actually looking up facts as opposed to swallowing right wing lies and spin.

He was a failure as London Mayor ?"

By all accounts, he was shit at the job. He's incompetent, lousy at attention to detail and lazy.

"Boris is the acceptable face of racism in this country.

Thats why even with all the bullshit he churns out, his prejudices are a vote winner in many areas of the country.

He’s only saying what many people believe anyway. That’s why he will win, he’s made it acceptable.

It doesn’t matter if he has token ethnics in his government, as long as they are subservient and don’t hold the highest office in the land thats what counts in his and other peoples minds."

There was a letter sent to the Guardian signed by 200 Jews stating that they feared Antisemitism more from the right wing than the left.

It amazes me things that BJ has said recently and got away with yet the propaganda machine has to go all the way to 1978 to find something on Corbyn and even then it's not relevant.

Johnson has said many offensive, racist, sexist and homophobic things on record. His supporters willfully ignore them all. The link I provided at the start of this thread seems to have been ignored by Johnson supporters too.

"I think the people in this country have had enough of experts..." Gove's words. The Tories have been waging war on truth and facts for some time now. It's incredibly depressing people believe their bullshit.

It seems if someone makes an allegation it immediately becomes a fact and now one has to apologise whether the allegations is nothing more than just that.
