Jeremy Corbyn - the truth hurts

It is interesting to see that Jeremy Corbyn choose to help an IRA bomber and not a Welsh soldier who was blinded for life by an IRA bomb. The full article is published today in one of the National newspapers . To morrows article will be about Mc Donnell and a six million pound fraud .

The IRA terrorist needed accommodation ( and quickly ) as the close working class communities in the mining villages of South Wales were outraged by the activities of an IRA terrorist . A soldier from the valleys had also been shot dead by the IRA leaving a widow .

Instead of assisting or helping the members of the armed forces , Jeremy Corbyn choose to help a terrorist and allow him to jump the local authority waiting list of 12000 . The terrorist concerned had no dependent children or pressing medical problems . In addition the terrorist already owned a house from which he was receiving landlords rent .

It can only be concluded that Corbyn association with terrorists make him a very dangerous man

I have to agree. In my experience of this forum, people asking which newspaper reported a particular story just do so in order to trash the source, whilst paying scant attention to the article. They are never able to prove it isn't true.

I bet it's one of the papers that didn't report that the Torys had an ex IRA member as a councillor, who when her history was revealed they suspended and then reinstated to go on to contest another two elections... Of course it's Corbyn that's the big bad IRA supporter though...

How about some genuine criticism of labours manifesto instead of trotting out the same old same old bollocks.

How about. Their immigration plans potentially to leave the NHS short staffed. Or their carbon neutral energy plans being too little too late?

I'm an undecided voter. I might vote tactically. For labour. But I'm open to persuasion. Are there any good reasons not to vote Labour? Like actual reasons, issues with their policy/manifesto.

Note: Any catchphrases directly from the daily mail etc push me more towards labour. The more Corbyn frightens the establishment, the more I think he could be on to something.

Probably because Corbyn has never expressed any regret at his association with known terrorists or unconditionallly condemn their activities .

At least the residents of the Welsh valleries made sure the terrorist had to leave his home .

Since time began, If people feel threatened, they make up bullshit stories. Or twist the truth. Problem is, is we have so many fickle people, ( not their fault may I add!) they can’t think for themselves.

Find out who owns these papers. Follow the line.

Think you’ll find these people have their hand in lots of naughty things, disgusting things.

Millie dowler. Princess Diana.

If they’re going to print disgusting things about these 2 then they’re gonna have a field day with Corbyn

"It is interesting to see that Jeremy Corbyn choose to help an IRA bomber and not a Welsh soldier who was blinded for life by an IRA bomb.

Which newspaper??

Have you tried looking?

No, I will ask again. Which newspaper ??

Im gonna go with the Sun and the Mail, because they're not Corbyn fans. I'll assume the guardian and mirror won't run it.

I have to agree but I want the OP (unless he is to embarrassed) to reveal his source

I bet it's one of the papers that didn't report that the Torys had an ex IRA member as a councillor, who when her history was revealed they suspended and then reinstated to go on to contest another two elections... Of course it's Corbyn that's the big bad IRA supporter though... Probably because Corbyn has never expressed any regret at his association with known terrorists or unconditionallly condemn their activities .

At least the residents of the Welsh valleries made sure the terrorist had to leave his home ."

I’m no Tory supporter but Jesus! Anyone supporting Boris must be a bit well, special, to put it nicely. This is an embarrassment.

I felt sad for Teresa. I honestly did. I don’t condone any type of bully tactics. But if you seriously, wholeheartedly, mean what you’ve said above...

Then you’re laughing at millions of really unfortunate people, kids, pensioners.

Hmmmm. Britain is no longer great. Thank you for that.

"How about some genuine criticism of labours manifesto instead of trotting out the same old same old bollocks.

The more Corbyn frightens the establishment, the more I think he could be on to something."

What about our security services?

Jeremy Corbyn is in the privy council and as such, will have been subject to scrutiny by our security services to get his clearance.

Are they utterly inept?

The situations to which you refer are entirely different to that of Jeremy Corbyn.

Jeremy Corbyn has never condemned terrorism and choose to be associated with a member of a terrorist group who every day of the week went out to kill harm and maim innocent people . Many still bear the scars to this day.

Most people in Northern Ireland do not want a United Ireland but Jeremy Corbyn choose to be associated with terrorist group who decided to ignore democracy and kill thousands of innocent people ( in addition to inflicting untold damage on the economy in Northern Ireland) . You would be hard pushed to find a nastier batch of people than those whose choose to join the terrorist group of which Jermemy Corbyn was prepares to help at least one member.

I guess he just is interested in getting on with the business of preparing to run the country rather than getting bogged down in the past - perhaps that’s something people might think of doing on here now and again - I mean to say, how farback do you want to take this? The romans, vikings, francs? Also if Trump is such a great friend to us perhaps some of his historical toes to noraid might be interesting

Ostriches can’t see the truth for the trees . So a mural in 2012 that is clearly , obviously, blatantly, outrageously anti semetic is about to be removed and Corbyn steps in and challenges why such freedom of speech expressed in a mural should be removed . In the same way nowadays he says his ears don’t hear anti Semitic comments within his party, in 2012, his eyes refused to see an Anti semetic painting. Pathetic .

To see if there was any truth in what you are saying I looked it up on Wikipedia. Unless you are Andrew Neil and can't tell the difference between an allegation and a fact there is no record of Antisemitism from Corbyn himself:

Another letter, supportive of Corbyn and published in the New Musical Express, was signed by thirty high profile figures, including Noam Chomsky, Brian Eno, Naomi Klein, Lowkey, Thurston Moore, Robert Del Naja, Maxine Peake, Mark Ruffalo, Mark Rylance, Alexei Sayle, Roger Waters, Vivienne Westwood and Yanis Varoufakis. The letter describes Corbyn as a “life-long committed anti-racist” and says that “no political party or political leader has done more to address (antisemitism) than Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party.” A further letter in support of Corbyn, from a number of British Jews, mainly eminent academics, was published in the Guardian a few days later.

Thank you for your sanity and taking the time to actually research a subject. I, for one, always appreciate any decent debate and, the wave of sadness, shock and despair which occasionally engulfs me when I read some 'contributions' in this forum, gets more intense, especially these past months.

I shall never reveal my own position re. political views or such. I choose not to but sometimes, like now, I'm persuaded to comment on what I read here.

I'm appalled at the downright ignorance and expletives used by certain so-called adults, who seem to have issues in their (anonymous) 'lives' causing these stupid and incredible outbursts. Indeed, some such being rattled off in a form of 'English composition' which suggests the poster either is in a seething rage, is genuinely demented or, (more likely.....?) some ne'er do well(s) on a major self-arousal...., i.e., baiting other posters like your good self and the few other decent, reasonable and legible folks here.

This 'de-luxe trolling' seems to give them some warped boost and, in my own opinion from reading many here over some time, I would say the great attraction being the disconnection from reality, the never having to explain face-to-face the source of these (often libellous) but still ANONYMOUS idiotic ramblings.

I'm convinced it is futile to engage such morons, life is best without the effort, I would really love to see them ignored, starved, left to their own kind in the dark place they haunt.

A positive but, sadly, serious and REAL concern I have with me every day I awake is..., the people, the genuinely GOOD human beings we ALL are regardless of race, creed, number of limbs, etc., etc..., including also the millions of innocent creatures, ALL animal life on this good Earth who are not as fortunate as myself who suffer in ANY way, loneliness, pain, injustice, cruelty, etc.

I am aware of many of the REAL issues in this world and at this time of the year, such as it is, I am more so feeling for them all and wish there was more I could do.

"Within a few hundred yards of me, at any time and almost any place I am there is some person or other who are worse off than I ever shall be"

I have this thought with me always. Keeps some perspective and proportion about my own self.

Love and best wishes, (not just 'cos it's THAT time in the calender), to all the good folks, always, everywhere. From myself, Derek Eva. XXX

Another letter, supportive of Corbyn and published in the New Musical Express, was signed by thirty high profile figures, including Noam Chomsky, Brian Eno, Naomi Klein, Lowkey, Thurston Moore, Robert Del Naja, Maxine Peake, Mark Ruffalo, Mark Rylance, Alexei Sayle, Roger Waters, Vivienne Westwood and Yanis Varoufakis. The letter describes Corbyn as a “life-long committed anti-racist” and says that “no political party or political leader has done more to address (antisemitism) than Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party.” A further letter in support of Corbyn, from a number of British Jews, mainly eminent academics, was published in the Guardian a few days later."

It's funny how nobody ever seems to listen to Jewish voice for Labour on these antisemitism allegations, but instead to Tory jews - I guess that the mainstream media considers JvfL the "wrong Jews".....

"Ostriches can’t see the truth for the trees . Pathetic .

The Rabi that Andrew Neil quoted in his so called interview is one of Johnson's mates. So again I question whether this a genuine attempt to stamp out Antisemitism or if it's just dirty politics.

It's funny how we don't hear much about it for so long and just coincidentally it's in the news every day just before election time. Just as Boris Johnson's crusade against terrorism which he curiously forgot to mention in his manifesto and hadn't breathed a word about in the months leading up to the terror attack.

"It is interesting to see that Jeremy Corbyn choose to help an IRA bomber and not a Welsh soldier who was blinded for life by an IRA bomb.

West London

The Daily Mash thinks that Labour supporters should vote Conservative. The reasons are obvious:

"Why, as a lifelong Labour voter, it is your moral duty to vote Conservative

9th December 2019

VOTED Labour your whole life? Then, according to the right-wing press, on Thursday you simply must vote Conservative. Here’s why:

Brexit

If you want Brexit, you have to vote Tory. Labour say they want Brexit, they’ve promised a referendum and you know what’ll happen there, don’t you? Loyal Brexit voters like yourself won’t vote for Brexit and we won’t get Brexit.

Corbyn

You might think there’s nobody more Labour than Jeremy Corbyn, a Labour MP for 36 years who passionately believes in all the usual trade union and state-funded industry b*llocks. But actually he’s evil, so Labour voters with any decency whatsover must now give their full backing to his exact opposite.

Boris is fun

The Tories only made Boris leader because they think you people like him. You’ve seen him on the telly and you think he’s hilarious. They’ve gone to all this trouble so it would be downright rude to vote for anyone else.

Anti-Semitism

Traditional Labour supporters in their Northern heartlands have always voted based on one issue, and one issue alone: the Jews. Nothing gets an unemployed Barnsley steelworker down to the polling station quicker. And, since Jeremy Corbyn is anti-Semitic, it’s got to be Tory this time.

NHS, police etc etc

Austerity meant the Tories had to cut 20,000 police and millions in NHS funding. But those were the old Tories, where Boris Johnson was a mere powerless Mayor of London or foreign secretary. Now he’s basically Clement Attlee with more hair.

Just f*cking do it, you prole

Go on, don’t be a chippy, working class dick. Do as you’re told so everything can go back to normal."

The alt-right in here keeps bringing up the IRA.

You'd almost think they're interested in Northern Ireland.

Can someone explain the major difference between the actions of Jeremy Corbyn and Nelson Mandela?

Nelson Mandela didn’t turn a blind eye to racism . Pretty sure if Mandela saw a racist mural, he wouldn’t say it was ok; nothing to see here.

According to the Tories at the time, Mandela was racist.

In that era, it was more important to oppose communism than it was to oppose racists. And my goodness, that was a racist society. Matched only today by Israel in Palestine and Saudia Arabia for apartheid.
