Is it THAT important opposed to policies /manifestos?

Describing interviews in terms of how the prrform, how they spoke, or physical appearance isn't really important is it?

I'd rate their personality and manifesto as 99% of my decision making materials. If they are untrustworthy etc, then their appearance is of no interest
