Chorley,

Read that the parents of the Harry Dunn are asking voters in the Ester and Walton Constituency to unseat Domic Raab and vote liberal democrats. Don't blame them one bit hopefully he will get what he deserves and loose his seat as not tried to help bring back Anne Sacoolas from America gone so quiet now. Just such a shame justice is not done for his parents.

There is no way she would have been repatriated to face charges under any US administration.

It is a corruption of the reasons behind diplomatic immunity for displays and families, bit it is consistently applied.

What was unacceptable was Raan using them for publicity to look tough by pretending there was a chance, then billing them for legal fees, then shutting them out of the hustings.

Hopefully he will reap the whirlwind.

As much as I can understand their anger at seeing justice denied by geopolitics, taking such an overtly political stance does carry risks of it's own and may be counter-productive. Unless of course they concluded the case is hopeless. I hope not.

Anne Sacoolas hasn't been charged with any offence, so extradition would be very hard. Its upto her to do the right thing and come back voluntarily.

The Dunn family seem to think that they have a case against the FCO, but haven't taken any action in the USA. The FCO's lawyers deem the case to be without foundation, and as per policy and not to set any precedent, have stated that they would seek to recover legal costs should they win the case.

For the Dunn family to get involved in such a way, may well backfire on them.

How much worse can it get for them, after all they’ve already lost their son...?
