Surprised not many people have picked this up

https://news.sky.com/story/general-election-whatsapp-messages-urge-british-hindus-to-vote-against-labour-11856692

This is what the BJP are, another racist organisation, with a policy of persecution.

I am from India. I hate BJP. But I have to say. Labour party fucked up big time by making that initial statement about Kashmir. You know what made it even worse for labour? Taking it back and going on to say that they won't interfere in Kashmir matters. Essentially, they have lost both Indian and Pakistani votes

I agree the BJP should not interfere in our politics, just as Labour shouldn't have interfered with theirs. That aside, how does all this make them racist?

Labour party started it first. I have two more questions.

1) How do you know there is bjp's hand in this?

2) When Pakistanis did a protest against India on the day of a Hindu festival, there were similar messages against the Tories for allowing it to happen on that day. Maybe the Hindu community was really pissed off in both the cases?

BJP is pro-Hindu organization. They have shown racist tendencies in India. But this particular thing that OP has posted about has nothing to do with racism.

The BJP have been at the forefront of the marginalisation of Muslims in India, also their treatment of dalits, they want the reinstitution of the caste based system in india. But nobody wants to talk about that.

Who said nobody wants to talk about that? People talk about that everyday in India. Most people I know make posts on social media criticising their actions against minorities. Unfortunately, the opposition party is so corrupt that even secular people didn't have a choice but to vote for bjp. The opposition party has lost two elections continuously and they still are not changing their worthless leadership.

But keeping that aside, BJP handled the Kashmir issue very well. Labour party's statement on this was totally uncalled for.

Truth be told, although a problem of UK’s making, very, very few people in the UK, unless with connections to the area, know anything about Kashmir and the issues and if they do, find it really hard to find hard facts, other than rhetoric and religiously weighted views.

Last I heard, UK were supporting India’s place in the UN (I think?) and this resulted in increasing tensions with Pakistan. As the buffer zone between two warring countries, we - the west- should pay more attention if not at least to stop the reported atrocities

Yet the BJP groups still interfere in our politics, with whatsapp messages telling british hindus who they should vote for.

Those responsible should be arrested.

Right now, even Pakistani nationalists are speaking against the labour party. If you start arresting for these reasons, there won't be enough space in prisons.

Do you have proof of that? Because if so then that is worse.

Check the Facebook profile of Shakeel Afsar. He is the leader of the group that is protesting against including LGBT topics in school in Birmingham. He has made some posts asking people not to vote for labour party. Check the comments on his post. There are more people doing the same thing.

Maybe you should reflect on why Jews, Hindus, LGBT citizens and many in the British Working Class will actively vote against Labour.

Could it be because they have thrown them all under a bus to play Woke SJW far left politics in favour of their chosen minority? A chosen minority which has led a sustained and concerted effort to infiltrate Labour's ranks in order to take control and affect policy like the recent scandals in Tower Hamlets, Enfield and Peterborough, and which has openly told their members to vote for Labour?

Could it be because they don't want to be taxed to the death for their hard earned cash?

Just a suggestion. X

Right on money there. Left wing has been a laughing stock ever since they moved on from fighting for the rights of minorities, to appeasing the minorities. Especially the minority group that you mentioned. Interesting most of these people don't even have an opinion about a minority group protesting against lgbt topics in schools in Birmingham making clear homophobic statements.

Yup, I know. My gay friends and I saw that coming years before it did. We clocked that all of this was heading in that direction about five years ago, when The Guardian became a parody of itself (we all cancelled our subscriptions the same year).

It taught me that there are no mainstream parties which operate on principle, but on who the largest voting block will be. Gays form a set percentage of the population which doesn't change, while the Chosen Ones are constantly increasing in percentage, and therefore they are throwing the gays under the bus and making excuses for their preferred minority acting in a horrible homophobic manner. Can you imagine if the protests were made by a group of Evangelicals? We'd never hear the last of how they are Nazis who are a threat to UK liberties and must be neutralised at all costs. Like the Jews and Hindus and White Working Class, the LGBT community also feels the threat from a Labour government.

So, to the OP, maybe you should reflect on why we have abandoned the party which used to represent us, instead of making judgements.

Great foresight from you. I am still a liberal at heart. But I stopped calling myself a liberal and stopped supporting any of the political parties because of the reason you said. No one gives a damn about principles. It is always about vote bank. If you are liberal and you point out a problem about a minority group, you are bullied. Remember the amount of abuse Sam Harris received just because he pointed out the truth? He has a blog where he justifies his stand on this issue even though most liberals started shouting that he is not a liberal. Worth a read if you haven't read already.
