"I'm afraid the stuff you wrote about Corbyn and the IRA is untrue. You could look up the facts on that yourself if you wanted. He has a long and documented history of condeming violence. Abbot did say something dumb in the past, though, I seem to remember. McDonnell too. " Also, why is talking to members of the IRA somehow worse than the Tory policy of selling bombs to the Saudi terror state to drop onto schools and weddings, and funerals of those who died at the aforementioned schools and weddings?

"It seems that many on here are either genuinely unaware or, as many Labour Party supporters choose to do, ignore the facts concerning leading members of the Labour Party’s support for the IRA over the years. There is no evidence, what evidence ?, it’s just Daily Mail fake news the lefties shout. Just google Diane Abbot ira, or the other 2 with Ira at the end of the search string. And this is of course just media reporting. There is mountains of intelligence reporting leading Labour Party members of all ranks to support for various terrorist groupings . Abbot clearly supported the Ira in the 80s and has recently admitted it. McDonnell has also admitted it. And Corbyn has never, not once, despite being asked numerous times, denounced the Ira . As I said in earlier posts, you really are a member of the flat earth society if you can’t even google someone’s name , followed by “Ira” and be unable to read the results." Stands to reason, the IRA is or was a marxist terror group.

"There is The IRA, and then there is ‘The IRA’ ... we can’t even tell the difference, and at this stage of the game, neither can ‘They’. A Leader once quipped, ‘They haven’t gone away you know’... But, even if he was quizzed on who ‘they’ are, he’d deny ever having known of them. Excuse me if the above sounds completely insane, but trying to link anybody to ‘The IRA’ these days is nonsense, as even ‘The IRA’ can’t decide if laundering diesel is more profitable than transporting migrants in containers.... Did any of you know that IRA once stood for Irish Racing Automobiles !! Maybe Corbyn is a fan of fast cars..."

The survived the crash but were bayonetted to death through the stomach. Why? For politics. To make a headline. It's easy to talk about it like it's nothing more significant than burned toast. Easy to do it from behind your keyboard. Not so easy when you are burying you best friend. I was disgusted when the Tory newspapers used the Manchester bombings to direct hatred towards Corbyn. How low can humanity possibly sink? If people on this forum want to shit all over the memories of the victims of the most terrible acts humans are capable of then I'm sorry I'm not standing for it. Are the people who died in the London bombings not victims? Are their families not victims too? What about the Manchester bombing? The attacks outside parliament? To use terrorism as a label to stick on your political enemies is to belittle the pain and suffering inflicted on the victims of actual terrorists. As I've said before. It's insensitive and disrespectful.

I think you'll find I said I don't agree with the method, but sympathise with the grievences and situations that have created these terrorists. I then pointed out that history shows us that often these terrorists become the leaders of countries we need to deal with. Therefore, it is sensible for our political leaders to have communication channels available to them. I'm pretty certain no one has said it's OK to kill children. Unless of course they have the good manners to do it with weapons bought from us of course. I don't say these things lightly. I was in the Army, a lad I was in training with was blown up in NI. But our armed forces would still be dying over there, if politicians of all colours had not sat down with terrorists.

The military wing of ANC, umkhonto we sizwe did not wage war against military targets. If you look at the Magoos bombing in Durban and the Pretoria bombing together with the necklace slayings it would be pretty hard to classify them as anything other than terrorists. Of course that particular terrorist leader won a Noble Peace Prize and is considered one of the greatest men who ever lived. Another famous terrorist Robert Mugabe was put into power by Britain in the Lamcaster house agreements. This terrorist continued to murder and torture his own citizens as well as plunder Zimbabwe in ruins. As for Syria have a listen to Eva Bartlett giving us a different view on whether our tax money is actually being used to fund terrorists. Don't make the mistake of thinking that anyone who can think about what the see and read support the "far left". Most of us are somewhere across the middle. The reason the far right is in focus here is because we have a huge influence in the western world from the far right. Which is specifically designed to split and divide society to make sure that the systems that keep the rich and powerful, rich and powerful.

My end customer builds spacecraft (satellites), their end customer uses cellphones, gps etc. I pass my increased costs on to them which they pay with a smile and then pass on to you who has no choice. Some of my previous customers have been Coca cola, PepsiCo and Nestle. Same again. They will happily allow me to pass on my costs because they will pass them on to the consumer. The government wins. I win. Big business wins. The man on the street loses (but thinks he has won so he's happy too). He scratches his head at the end of the day and can't figure out why he can't make ends meet.

"Maycontain is broadly right in what he says. Taxing businesses means everyone will have to pay more towards a better society. That was my problem with austerity, it possibly was necessary initially after the worls banking crisis but it was the people at the bottom that suffered the most. Whereas the people at the top eventually got tax cuts and tax breaks. Eventually austerity was used politically as an excuse towards smaller government." Just to expand on that. Take a hypothetical. Government adds a tax on plane operators for fares. Because every airline faces the same taxation they can all afford to raise their ticket prices to cover the cost of the taxation without losing customers. End result the government will give £10 extra on your income but your plane ticket went up £20.

But they didn't operate as competently as they did without wide support. Unfortunately, many in this country supported them and still do." And what does it say about one of the two candidates who can realistically be the next PM that Corbyn was an ardent IRA supporter, the shadow Home Secretary applauded every IRA attack as a knife into the Tory establishment and McDonnell to this day has plaques of hunger strikers on his office wall. I was present in Troops out movement meetings in London in the 80s where Corbyn was the keynote speaker. And was in London when Corbyn invited IRA members into the House of Commons hours after the Brighton bombing of the conservative government when politicians and their families were murdered and maimed by the IRA. Abbot clearly supported the Ira in the 80s and has recently admitted it. McDonnell has also admitted it. And Corbyn has never, not once, despite being asked numerous times, denounced the Ira . As I said in earlier posts, you really are a member of the flat earth society if you can’t even google someone’s name , followed by “Ira” and be unable to read the results." OP clearly likes to live in the past, the troubles are over, there is peace in NI because of people like JC who created the conditions for the GFA. You should thank them and him to from keeping both loyalists and republicans from an all out war. So take comfort in the fact that there are people brave enough to say there is a better world out there.

Murdered by an IRA splinter group gunman a few months ago. Or the passers by of numerous IRA splinter groups bomb attacks across northern Ireland this year or people who have had their kneecaps blown off in punishment shootings. Oh yeah but these attacks never happened - they were all made up by the right wing press. Attacks that Corbyn steadfastly refuses to condemn when questioned about them instead using his pathetic weasel words that “all violence is wrong”; weasel words slyly attacking the security forces

"OP 4 + 4 = 10 Everyone knows its a fact! It's not just Daily Mail propaganda. It's common knowledge! It's all over the internet! I just can't refer you to one single authentic resource that says it. Do you what OP you are the lowest form of life. You take the blood of terror victims and use it for political leverage. Shame on you! If you had one shred of decency you would show some sensitivity to those victims instead of bandying it about to win a political argument. I hope to God you never lose you someone you love to genuine terrorism and have someone like you rub their hands in glee because of the ammunition it gives them. You have the mental process of a woodworm in a brick and a ticking stopwatch for a moral compass. I have lost friends to terrorists. Taken up arms against terrists and it suckens me to know I've been protecting whiny ass big mouth know all no nothing cerebral pygmies like you. You sicken me. I kind of get where you are coming from - using the death of innocent victims of the troubles to push a load of orange & blue propaganda is not a good plan imho When I was 8 years old my best friend and his 5 year old sister were shot down in a civilian aircraft with a SAM-7. Free speech is one thing. This is just tasteless disrespect. OP you wouldn't know a terrorist if ine bit you in the arse." The Daily Mail should be used to wipe your ars on, it wld save on falking out for shit roll, but only to have the print on your ars lol, All Governments have to use diplomats and stealth channels to bring to end - troubles - wars - and battles being fought - All end this way. The labour leader has been a bridge for this in him trying to negotiate and end the blood shed - over the water and in the middle east, to build a rapor with the unsavories your talking to you " have to " be friendly and build a rapor, the gossip news rags who soemtimes tell the truth, simply paints its subject to appear usually in right wing views - they print lies sometimes.

Eventually austerity was used politically as an excuse towards smaller government. Just to expand on that. Take a hypothetical. Government adds a tax on plane operators for fares. Because every airline faces the same taxation they can all afford to raise their ticket prices to cover the cost of the taxation without losing customers. End result the government will give £10 extra on your income but your plane ticket went up £20." I understand where you're coming from. Although many who are not buying much in the way of luxury goods and services as it's beyond their means anyway would effectively be paying a lesser percentage in relation to the population.
