Boris has said his deal is a great deal for northern ireland as they have free movement and access to the single market. So for the rest of the uk are these things good things? Is the deal great for the rest of the uk?

If de Pfeffel says it's good, it must be really horrendous!

A border(ish) in the Irish Sea between the mainland and NI, and another borer(ish) between NI and the ROI. What a marvelous idea! Everyone feels betrayed and hello 'brexit troubles' or is it 'troubles mk2'?

Lines of demarcation between NI and GB arising from the Withdrawal Agreement.

Followed by lines of demarcation between England and Scotland, NI and Wales, when Johnson signs up for US imports of chlorinated chicken, maggots and rat hair for England.

They have rules that are at odds with US food safety regulations, however.

Which means those constituent parts of the UK that have said they will adhere to EU food safety regulations post-Brexit will need to apply import controls to any products arriving from the US that do not meet EU standards.

It promises to be quite a mess.

Yeah it would be really good if the rest of the UK had freedom of movement, and access to the single market.

And didn't brexit.
