Possibly because the Unionists viewpoint was quite clearly expressed everywhere else. But IMO it's way deeper than that - some people are just drawn to anarchy and rebellion from deep in their soul, they are anti-establishment revolutionaries just looking for a cause to support, full of anger and envy and anti-elite hatred, and to my mind he is by nature one of those. He has a huge chip on his shoulder IMO, and would likely destroy this country in one term. | |||

I haven’t seen any political advertisements spreading disinformation. Nothing sold in that sphere. Even Twitter got a clue and made the decision to stop that happening.
When is Mark Zukerberg going to realise that his platform has done more for the spread of disinformation in the world.

"That is the point, its not recognisable as advertising, because it's not. There are clear rules about advertising for TV and Media, with the Advertising Standards Authority saying what is allowable. The ASA doesn't apply to 'new media' (the internet). If I made a TV ad that said something blatantly untrue and misleading, it wouldn't be shown. I could it put on FB. Its much worse than that, so instead of showing an single ad to loads of people, I pay to have crafted news items, memes, videos all targeted on an individual basis. So based on user profiles they target people with items that will be their 'hot' item. So you a get news feed with stories about immigration, your mate gets stories about crime, your brother gets a news feed about a failing health service.............And there's no obligation that any of it has to be true. So it's not advertising, its targeted propaganda intended to appeal to peoples natural biases and prejudices and exploit it | |||
