"Who she? Wot she done?" I noticed it needs some edition; it should read: A hero or just a republican attempt to distract the public from the trompo-impeachment? A super hero for me btw. NB: The tat is not nazi. She has a tatto close to her V that's not Nazi but sexy. Then she's a democrat bi-congresswoman, that keeps posting pics of her with hubby searching for female partners... Like we all do. A British newspaper found her pics and published it and the republicans are trying (with little success) divert the attention from trompo-impeachment to her... She's a bong-user and swinger!!! The republicans, you know, they only drink beer like Brett; are they all like Brett?

However the conversations his daughters had indicate that Mrs Manafort didn't enjoy the experiences and felt pressured into them https://twitter.com/HiIamMikeC/status/1020367743038603264 But if it's of help to you the purpose of my comment was to highlight the double standard. Would it have helped if I had contrasted it with the republican silence on the multiple allegations of sexual assault made against President Trump. In short rules for thee not me

"She's resigned, over some sex scandal apparently." There was no sex scandal,# other than she is an openly gay woman who was photographed with another consenting adult woman. Unlike say Donny Trump who has been caught forcing his way into Miss Universe contestants changing rooms and boasting about grabbing women by the pussy without consent because he can get away with it. Or Supreme Justice Brett Kavanaugh who can sexually assault women because he 'likes beer' and is mates with Donny.

I think the other woman was actually a member of her staff, so there are ethical issues.

"I think the other woman was actually a member of her staff, so there are ethical issues. " Really? Ethical issues... Is that your view with MPs (or anyone else for that matter) who employ family members, especially wives and partners or friends to run their parliamentary offices (or in any other capacity)? Or are you just repeating a talking point you have heard without ever giving it a seconds critical thinking?

Katie Hill (D-Calif.) on Sunday announced her resignation from Congress amid an ethics inquiry into allegations that she had an intimate relationship with a congressional staff member in her office. “It is with a broken heart that today I announce my resignation from Congress,” Hill wrote in a statement. “This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I believe it is the best thing for my constituents, my community, and our country.” Hill’s spokeswoman said that the resignation is not immediate and that Hill is still deciding on when she will leave office. Her announcement was first reported by Politico, which said that she planned to resign by the end of the week. Last week, the House Ethics Committee opened an investigation into allegations that Hill was romantically involved with her legislative director, Graham Kelly, a relationship that would violate House ethics rules. It is against the Congress code of ethics for members to engage in a sexual relationship with any employee” who works for the member. I'll be happy to discuss this if you can manage to do so with questioning my thinking process. A sexual relationship with someone that is subordinate to you an abuse of position by any moral or ethical standard and leaves you open to further questions of impropriety.. So I'm not talking about employing family members, I'm talking about fucking members of your own staff.

" Put the strawman away, The double standards of republicans is a separate issue. Her actions were sufficient for the democratic controlled house to launch an ethics investigation. Ms Hill has actually showed integrity by resigning. Its not just me and the NYT think its an abuse of position to have sexual relations with subordinates. Is it safe to assume that you have encountered the trope in a workplace that a promotion or payrise was due to an inappropriate sexual relationship?
