Queenie really ought to begin her speech:

"There now follows a party election broadcast on behalf of the Conservative and Unionist Party"

What is wrong with wanting to do that I already think it is though

Is that why you've removed his double-barrelled surname?

"My government is today pledging to spend cash from the magic money tree , we said we hadn't got in order to sound as if we care but in reality we want another election in the hope we don't have to carry out what we are promising today because we want someone else to win and take over because we haven't got a clue what to do next ,,,,,( help !!!!! ) ,,,, we would also like to apologise for having no idea how to deal with leave winning the referendum and despite us claiming to have a long term economic plan , we clearly hadn't ,, it is my governments wishes that we have a general election as soon as possible so we can lose and the new Government can sort out this mess , keep us in the EU and save the Union of the United Kingdom , to enable us to blame Europe every time something we cause goes wrong "

Chorley,

What a waste of the public's money yet again from Boris Johnson as none of these bills are likely to get past.

It’ll be interesting to see how it all turns out! I mean this budget covers just about every wish list the broad swathe of the electorate could want but....it would all be financed through cheap(!) borrowing! So really what was the fucking point of the last 11 years of austerity if we are going to borrow more than labour ever did? Its a load of old bollocks designed to woo any floating voters back to the tories but with the intention f covering their arses at the GE. Monumental hubris and irresponsibility on the part of Boris and his svengali Cummings.

Austerity never was about balancing the books or paying down debt.

It was sold as that, yes.

But it was an ideological purge of the state.

Stripping money away from functions least likely to be felt by Conservative voters.

A cull of the weakest in society.

Brexit, in one sense, was payback for Cameron and Osborne.

Exactly....its just a shame that the working class were conned into action by that posh little shyster Farage and his acolytes. I blame it all on Paul Dacre and his poisonous propaganda.

Boris wanted a GE, but chicken Corbyn wouldnt agree to one despite saying at least every week since the last one he wanted one, had we had one then this Queens speech wouldnt have been needed

Following The Queen reading out the Tory Manifesto , I now expect Prince Charles to do the same for Plaid , Prince Harry for the Labour Party , Prince William for the LibDems and Princess Anne for the SNP

Twisted socialist views on life are quite disturbing when viewed in the written word. I will leave them to it and carry on enjoying life.
