Huddersfield /derby cinemas

BBC Parliament Channel are showing their coverage of the 1959 General Election , interesting to see how broadcasting has changed , one of presenters ( I think McKenzie - but may be wrong ) broadcasting in studio while smoking ) ,, maybe interesting for those of you interested in political and broadcasting history

Yes for many years the general election studios would be filled with smoke,it was normal
