The most trusted leader over brexit.

According to new poll.

Why not?

He's a shallow one-trick-pony (what are his views on the environment, private education, minimum wage... anything really?), but he's at least consistent in his ravings.

Vote Farage if you're a Brexiter, vote Lib-Dem if you're a Remainer, vote anything else and you've just bought a lottery ticket...

Yep, said this a while back that the only realistic definite ways to sort Brexit are Lib Dems to scrap Brexit or The Brexit Party to ram anything Farage wants to ram though to Brexit

Some in the Conservative Party - yes, the Tory Party - want him to be the UK nomination for Commissioner if the UK stays beyond Oct 31.

The clearest evidence, if any was needed, of the infiltration of the Conservative Party by the hard right Ukippers.

except when he's not

"[if we vote to leave ]we'll find ourselves part of the European Economic Area with a free trade deal" March 2015

"the referendum vote was a vote to leave the single market and customs union" May 2019

I won't however say that everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie.

well you could argue that the Tories are so shit scared of the Brexit National Party splitting the right wing vote that they will do anything to stop him and his limited company.... err I mean political party - standing against them at the next election

The whole loony left thing is just received wisdom from the right wing press.

There's nothing hard left in the labour manifesto - it's pretty standard social democratic kind of stuff.

In fact if we judged labour by scandanavian standards they would be considered middle of the road, and we don't look at countries like norway and sweden and see them as hotbeds of hard left activism.

Corbyn leaves a lot to be desired as a leader, but don't confuse any personal dislike for the man with a fantasy of hard loony leftism

Yet another privately educated figure of the establishment. Personally, I think calling him a one trick pony is rather generous given how badly leaving the EU is turning out to be...and it's set to get even worse when/if we do actually leave on October 31st. If people are calling his stance on immigration his one trick, God help us all.

He's another career politician, one of the elite who's been financed by the elite, to gain what appears most likely to be an advantage for a tiny number of the elite. He's milked systems for his own gain, even from bodies such as the Eu which he has zero respect for.

He's reliable to be grabbing whatever he can, whilst using deceit, to collapse the security of millions. The general population should not have to be expected to understand the major complexity of what he's spent taxpayers' and millionaire's money, to bring about. After millions of voters have had anger, fear and other significant emotional conflicts engaged in their political decisions, it's unlikely that they find it easy to disengage from such provoked bias, to perceive Farage as the opportunistic scum that he is, who has no care whatsoever about engineering their suicidal like downfall.

As much as I detest this vile human.

You could argue that he is trusted. He used racism and ignorance to promote brexit for his American benefactors. He did his job, it was easy to convince people to vote themselves into poverty for the benefit of a rich few. He doesn't try to hide behind any pretence of wanting to do any good for the country.

Nobody has ignored the vote. It's just that nobody knows exactly what it was because nobody discussed it.

One more time: Boris has no intention of leaving. It's all about taking votes off any actual leave party (i.e. brexit).

It looks like most leave voters will probably vote Conservative, because like my workmate they hopelessly trust Boris' rhetoric "Splutter Don't vote for him, vote for us and we will get Brexit done! Dead in a ditch Splutter splutter". Though I explain it clearly to him, he is resolute. And resolute we will be leaving this time. Oh dear he's in for a surprise in 3 weeks.

And yes I probably will vote Brexit, because wanting to leave, it's either them or what's left of UKIP, or BNP who will probably want to deport me for having a foreign sounding surname

For Farage's foibles, is he really any worse than Bumbling (and lying!) Boris, crazy Jo Swindleson who thinks democracy means prioritising the minority who lost, or bearded betrayer Corbyn? Not to mention wolf in sheep's clothing Caroline Lucas, who well knows what's going on.

The usual suspects, Blue Red and Yellow, are all devout remain parties, it's just one of them is pretending to be a 'leave party' when they're absolutely not (though they have some leave MPs). And they have the public fooled, such as the workmate who insists we are leaving this time and will not have anything I say. We'll have an interesting chat on Nov 1st I think.

Is there one other person who gets that Boris is lying PLEASE?!

What was the topic again...? Farage, and I'm talking about Boris?

===============

People knew exactly what the vote was, Leave or Remain, and all the major issues were debated at length beforehand. Thanks. It was in 1975 people didn't know what they were voting for when they were told it was only a trading club and "would never become anything more". That's why so many "older people" that you despise want to leave.

Ever since then, one thing has weighed very heavily on my conscience.

If the UK remains in the EU, then Nigel Farage gets to keep his seat in the EU Parliament.

And that can NOT be a good thing.

Hold on, was you describing Nigel or Boris then? They sound like bum chums. As a professional driver, I am fully aware of the differences between the already existing EU drivers hours regulations, and the GB regs. I'm also familiar with the fact that the GB regs mostly apply to local public transport bus drivers. It's not rocket science to imagine the EU regs being discarded in favour of the more productive GB regs being also applied to truck drivers who only drive in the UK. That covers parcel delivery companies, inter city coach drivers and supermarket distribution hubs.

Kinda ironic to see the Brexit party leader saying that he would want to see Brexit delayed.

Nigel has lost the momentum now, Dominic Cummings just kicked the brexit party into a party of irrelevance now.

Conservatives must be pleased, they are going to win by a landslide at the next election.

Wow I was having a bad day when I wrote that other post.

Nigel:

I don't know enough about him. I want to like him, his antics make me laugh.

Why does he want to leave? Could it be a minority of his old banker chums in London stand to actually benefit from likely deregulation caused by leaving?

I'm increasingly sure this is the case with other former London guy Mogg. Mogg doesn't look at all genuine to me.

But some things Nigel says make me think he wants to leave out of principle as well. I found out the other day he was warning us about the EU army years ago, but they tried to call him a conspiracy nut!

I'm not sure how that helps his old banker chums so I think he's a mixed bag who wants out both for the right reasons and for other questionable motives.
