If it happens will have parties. I don’t think I will be on the invite list though!

Yes. Nothing is gonna happen. Nothing.

Just like when they tried to terrify/bully us before the referendum.

All their fearmongering came to zilch.

Coventry

Brexit or Pandora's Box, I can't tell the difference. All I can see if when the country is split with no clear majority on something that affects so many aspects of everyday life no one really wins. I believe Cameron's Brexit was a blasè political stunt rather than a serious attempt to resolve problems and make the country stronger. I'm sure he totally miscalculated the outcome. And for the damage he has done to this country by way of miscalculated political gimmick I will never forgive him. Doesn't help that it has mixed with the worse political opposition for some time to make a perfect storm of division and stagmentation. It really is a cluster fuck of epic proportion that I'm pretty sure will continue to set us back whatever we eventually decide (if we ever decide). Cheers Cameron, you knob cheese.

The millennium bug was averted due to 2+ years of pre-patching, hardware BIOS upgrades and constant round the clock monitoring of thousands upon thousands of different software in the run up to late 1999 and into 2000.

Please don't pretend it wasn't a serious issue and compare it to the mess that is brexit.

One would hope so. But all the evidence suggests it will be a shock to the system in the short term and medium term.

Yes, a hell of a lot of work went into the millennium bug fixes but a report I read a few years afterwards said problems with the Y2K bug were no higher on systems either enclosed or open that had no preventative measures applied than systems that did.

Make of that what you will...
