I know me and a few others said that this would be boris's plan. That looks all but confirmed now. Parliment will restart with a new mandate to push a deal through giving the north special treatment, and a deal could follow shortly after." . All we need now is an English paramilitary group determined to kill Irish citizens, nail bombs in cork, car bombs in Wexford, give a confirmed call as if you don't really mean to murder innocents but lap it up with your followers over how "the government are out to get us" then after 40 years and hundreds of murders, they'll be seen as freedom fighters and nobody and no democratic vote will be able to do anything for fear of them starting back up again... Yep we've all learnt that lesson.  .

No, it was the UK that proposed the original backstop for NI. The UK extended it to the whole UK when Foster spat the dummy and refused to vote for it. | |||
