I see Boris and his hedgefunding chums are inline for a rather nice windfall if we drop out on the 31st. Clever buggers!

Seen it, no surprises that in such times there are some who will profit..

Question is how much have they and will Boris and people like Mogg make from the no deal if that happens..

Hasn't this been the primary reason for Brexit?

It's not all about removing safety standards and environmental protections or indeed even about those who wish to continue to dodge tax.

Plain and simple it's a money making scheme.

Without political dissent. We wouldn't be living in the society we do.

Label it "moaning" all you like. But voices of dissent have a right to be heard.

Everyone has or should have the right to speak up.

I said it in another thread. Those rich and powerful who orchestrated brexit, are sitting back and laughing. People speaking out against what's going on getting labelled as "moaners" by other people, who should also be standing up for what's right, is doing their job for them.

You really ought to read the story. It is quite literally disgraceful that our politics is so corrupted.

I don’t think anyone from any political or EU favour could read that story without feeling a little disgusted.

I didn't use any of those words. And never have done to describe a leaver.

Central

Some former leavers are now remainers, if we must continue to label people. It was a vote, a very long time ago in political terms and most of us have democratic principles. Democracy is ours to make it work for the country and our political beliefs of what is appropriate, change according to context.

Yep, some people will become billionaires if a no deal happens.

The cost will be farmers killing themselves, fishermen killing themselves.

American insurance companies lobbying the likes of... Not worth naming them, so that they - insurance companies - can have a piece (UK) of the European health market in the hope of getting more of it in the decades to come; we are 600 million people market which would/could potentially become a 7 trillion dollar in total health expenditures, per year... No wonder some are calling for unlikely coalisions in order to get their no deal; their commissions will allow them to buy and maintain castles for generations to come.

I actually worry about you sometimes. You clearly cannot have read the article which was written by an award winning journalist.

Your slavish adherence to extremist ideology is beyond bizarre to me, given your gender identification preference. Many of those who share your ideology would rather see you disappear than acknowledge your right to exist and be happy.

You seem to see your friends as your enemy and your enemies as something to aspire to even if it destroys your choices in the process.
