According to various news sources, Labour lost almost 46,000 members last year. Official figures show that they quit over Brexit, anti-Semitism and Jeremy Corbyn. Another nail in the coffin for Jeremy the Jew Hater. Who knew that Labour used to have some intelligent supporters though?

It will surely be a concern for Labour that they have lost 45,786 members over the last year , , but they were at record high numbers , the membership now stands at 518,659 which is up from 193,743 in 2014 ,, while mentioning membership numbers the Tory members at the recent leadership vote was 159,320 , of which Johnson got 92,153 votes , compared to Corbyn receiving 251,417 votes in 2015 and 313,209 votes in 2016 in the Labour leadership elections ,, so while not disputing the reports mentioned that Labour have lost nearly 46,000 members , once again , it is very poor , lazy journalism not to report the full facts and figures .

Not a nail in the coffin for corbyn but the labour party the moderates are the ones that are leaving and momentum taking over.

Sadly I'm one of them.

It's not pleasant, labour is the party which helped establish the formal welfare state instead of people relying on charity and literally, "just surviving".

The current party is disorganised, and unable to rid itself of rotten apple members and staff.

I couldn't have my name backing them.

Didn't want to start a new thread so found one closest to. I read today that Gavin Williamson is suing the Labour party over his firing, he's taking it to the high court. Not sure if it is on the process of his firing like Salmond or him being labelled antisemetic but the outcome will be interesting.
