"Having recently had a by election here, I fielded the usual questions from my kids about who they should vote for. I refrained from telling them, saying instead that they should vote for whoever they felt best portrayed their ideas of how local, and national, govt should behave, and in which direction they wanted the country to go. They asked for a brief synopsis of the main parties. I think I did pretty well, giving (I hope) an unbiased view. However, my son has been paying a lot more attention to the news for the last couple of weeks, and now says he is even more confused than before, especially with "that daft twat Corbyn and the rest" (his words). So, can anyone give me a rundown on which way the Labour Party is pointing, on the big topics, the EU (in/out/shakeitallabout), defence, NHS, Scotland (HA...that should be interesting!) etc? " Might be better to get your own opinion online to be fair

I guess my own opinion clouds my judgement on Corbyn (treasonous traitorous wanker), McDonnell, Abbott and the rest.

" That’s fair enough but any comment on here would at least have a slight (probably huge) bias ,, they meet to find what they are passionate about and look at both opposing side to get a balanced view
