Lots have people have been, rightly, outraged about grooming gangs.

Why no post about this?

Tell us how angry you are that nothing was done.

No campaign from Tommy Robinson and his supporters?

Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) published its damning investigation into children in care in Nottinghamshire. It gives gruelling details of how generations of children, living in a climate of fear, were horrendously abused by predatory carers in homes and foster families while Nottingham city council and Nottinghamshire county council, as well as police, social workers and the Crown Prosecution Service, repeatedly failed to act.

Indeed institutional abuse needs to be vocally deplored whatever colour, belief, status, the perpetrators hold

Respect to the OP for a balanced approach to the world wide human problem

"

Why?

Do we have to be "angry" about every injustice that goes on to justify our moral compass or something?

That's rather the point I'm making.

I find it all unacceptable.

Some appear to only be upset if one particular group is to blame.

There's so many horrible things going on but while I do find them all extremely disturbing I don't dwell on them and get angry, there's enough strife to contend with in day to day life without getting angry about every injustice that's happening, hence why I avoid newspapers and regular news programs and only seek out topics that interest me.

.

He's in prison? I reckon it's hard to campaign from there.

Let that be a lesson to campaigners

Nottingham police are not South Yorkshire police.

His supporters were protesting for his release not for victims of child abuse.

Surely he should be directing them to his "true" cause?

I think that you misunderstand my purpose.

Most of the bad things that happen are actually rare.

The world is a far, far better place than it used to be despite what the news implies. Bad news sells.

None of that is the point of my post.

Ay, my mistake. I think I am confusing this case with the one Yaxley Ten Names was shouting the odds about.
