Haven't seen a thread about it yet.

So, what does everyone think the turn out and share will be?

Huddersfield /derby cinemas

59.7% turn-out , I am expecting a bad result for the conservatives , Plaid and Greens not standing , I would expect a lot of Labour voters to also vote LibDem to get rid of the sitting Tory MP . It's a seat that the LibDems "must" win , in the same way that The Brexit party "had" to win the Peterborough by-election

I get that.

The brexit party had to win Peterborough to prove that they could win a safe brexit seat against the Tories.

The liberals have to win this to add weight to their argument that they can replace the opposition.

It was a Leave voting, safe Tory seat.

The LibDems won it though in part due to the Brexit arty vote.

The Tory MP was second even though he fraudulently claimed expenses. Apparently now acceptable.

It will make some Tories feel that they have to be even more extreme in their Brexit rhetoric.

Big news to me is, remain parties can win if they stand aside for one another.

Labour needs get of the bloody fence.

I suspect it will be a low turnout poll with the lib-dems and brexit parties taking significant shares of the vote.

PC and Greens didn't pull much last time. The swing was from Labour voters jumping. Leave vote numbers reduced as well as split.

Hmm, waiting to hear people attacking parliamentary democracy and point out that if you do some maths leave won by adding the Brexit party and Tory and labour votes.

The Brexit candidate was already quoted saying that. SMH.

From the BBC article:

"The Brexit Party's Des Parkinson, a retired police chief superintendent, who finished third, said: "If you look at the actual total of the vote, the Brexiteers won."

And what it showed overwhelmingly is people found the Brexit Party unpalatable to vote for in local issues.

Im sure premier league will correct this POV with a man city analogy.

Even if we ignore labour, remain parties polled 48.8... Which is more than voted remain. So direction of travel aint great...

Central

Good result. The extremist government losing more of its wafer thin teeny majority, shrinking to the size of Boris's sickening cock. Tory and libdems very well known to the locals, with LDs obviously more palatable, both having past form and the Cons increasingly unacceptable to thinking people of substance.

Extremist perspectives fixated on archaic results that they try to repurpose to impose death sentences, where the lies and manipulation forced beliefs of rainbows, possibly with pots of gold somewhere, have passed, now just reeking of the bullshit that they were. There are some who are innocent, even with collusion with toxic extremists but there's a limited timeframe of ignorant gullibility.

Whats the forums views in TBP? Their existance here was xounter productive... They failed to make any mark in a leave seat where the tory candidate was broiled in controversy... And yhe vitws fhey did get arguably put a remain MP into parliament where there wasnt one before... Theyd have done more good not existing...

Tomorrow’s by-election in Brecon and Radnorshire is a choice between Boris Johnson’s plan to deliver #Brexit by October 31st, or the @LibDems who want to block it.

A vote for anybody other than Chris Davies is a vote to block Brexit. #VoteConservative TOMORROW

The Conservative and Unionist Party exists in name only. It is now the Brexit Party.
