Anybody watch it?

How come the Dems can't find a half sane halfwit to run to at least challenge trump, they must have scoured the mental institutions really hard to find that bunch.

"Anybody watch it?

the problem at the moment is where i like choice, at the moment there is too much choice and at this stage they don't tget the time to really shine ...

to qualify for the next set of debates the threshold is much much higher i reckon you are going to be looking at 8-9 people tops... I expect a lot of the candidates to drop out in the next few weeks...

last night was very "policy heavy" which i think was not a bad thing..... i think tonight is to be more attacking each other...

i still have 8 months till i vote in the primaries... but i have have narrowed it down to about 3 i am really interested in...

I think because i live here... medicare for all isn't the controversial topic, because what they are basically talking about is having a sort of "NHS".....

"What's your thoughts on trump _abio? You think he'll get another term in office? "

i think there are scenario's where the dem could win the popular vote by over 5 million, but trump wins the electoral college... remember clinton won the popular vote by 3 mil.. and she was polarising...

this election is going to be won in "big 10" country... the midwest.... trump won michigan by 10,000... Wisconsin by 17,000 and pennsylania by 45,000

16 college votes in michigan, 10 in wisconsin, 20 in penn

clinton wins those 3... she wins the election.... republicans hadn't won those 3 states in a generation, pennsylvania to republicans is like texas to dems.... as its the one state they think they can win but never did.....

in the midterms... trump got crushed in all 3 of those states, because the people who stayed at home in 16 (especially in detroit and milwaukee) came out in 18....

it depends on who ends up defending where...

come back and ask me in 6 months...... because i think what trump is trying to do by keeping on attacking black folks is surpressing the vote.... but if black people get pissed off and come out in obama like numbers... trump is done!

tulsi is an interesting one... very much to the left like bernie, but she is actually way more of a hawk than a dove on syria and iran... plus she had some very iffy views in the past on LGBT issues....

she has basically been squeezed out of the progressive lane by Sanders and Warren... could absolutely see her ending up being someones "sec of defense" in the next democratic led administration

Tim Ryan and John Delaney.

Any of the top four nutjobs Harris, Sanders, Warren, bidden and it's curtains for the Dems.

if you want to know how quickly this is going to whittle down...

the next debate is on ABC in september... to qualify for that you must get at least 2% in 4 national polls and have at least 130,000 unique people contribute to your campaign..

so far only 7 people have hit this, it has to be done by the end of August...

Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Pete Butigieg, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Beto o'rouke

you are going to see a lot of people being "persauded" to drop out if they aren't on that stage... for example Hickenlooper because he would have a very good chance of unseating the republican in the Colorado Senate Race, Beto for the same reason possibly challenging in the Texas Senate race

I know being a Hawk is bad and all, especially if you're a bit all gun blazing over it, but strategically would it not be good to get her to the top job. I mean American's seem overly patriotic about their military. She'd kind of give the Dems a bigger monopoly on the patriot card.

I don't like this as a strategy, but the Rights plays people's emotions well, might be time to use their own game play against them. Or at least negate it.

When did being a hawk become bad? To run an effective government/administration you need at least 1 hawk in a position of strong influence. The question is do hawks make good leaders, not are they good or bad.

I like neutral leaders who build administrations that balance political doves and hawks who each have competent professional staff (diplomats and military) to guide them. I believe problems arise when leaders are doves (Chamberlain) or hawks (Hitler) because both will reject any advice/warnings that do not conform to their beliefs about the use of power.

OMG!

How wrong can anyone be, both in you reading of what I have said and in what you claim to be your preferred government/administration. One thing history teaches us is that states that are lead and guided by pacifists quickly become provinces of other states. Just as states that are lead and guided by warmongers are never stable. The trick is to have neutral leaders who can use and control both hawks and doves.

Shame you are unable to understand a simple sentence. I said:

I believe problems arise when leaders are doves (Chamberlain) or hawks (Hitler) because both will reject any advice/warnings that do not conform to their beliefs about the use of power.

The example was perfect, one was a militarist leader who destroyed Germany and most of Europe, the other a pacifist leader who nearly caused the destruction of the UK because he was unwilling to stand up to the first.

I think the point was that it's good to have someone with a militaristic viewpoint in a position of INFLUENCE, but not actually bloody running the show. Or yes, there is a distinct possibility of them sacking all steadying voices, surrounding themselves with an echo chamber of similar viewpoints, overriding all dissent and heading towards totalitarian control. Putin. Mao. Kim. Franco. Stalin. And yes the ultimate example Hitler.

On the other hand whenever there is a totally lovey dovey absolute pacifist governing body, it quickly gets wiped out by the first internal or external threat. I can't even think of any examples, probably because they didn't survive long enough to get into the history books.

Long term effective and successful government that serves the people instead of squashing them, only happens when it includes a balance of hawkish (but not bloody lunatic) and doveish voices.

Guess you also feel the same way about Churchill. After all he casually left at least a million Indians to starve in the Bengal famine of 1943 because he was unwilling to open rice stores or divert any materials earmarked for the war effort to feed the Indian population effected by the drought that hit India.

You will no doubt be even harsher in your condemnation of Robert Peel who killed off around 1 million Irish Catholics (around 25% of the Irish population) and causing the same number to emigrate to the USA. Or do you consider those 2 hawks great British patriots and therefore above your scorn?

well done the welsh guy!!!!

almost all the alt-right talking points rounded up in one point.... and actually. very little of it true...

the late term abortion thing is a myth... it would actually be the same term limits that are here in the UK

open borders isn't true... they are just getting again the trump administration to adhere to the same international standards... like the UK for example

everything in the world being free... you mean like education (which is in most western nations.. and is in scotland, norther ireland and wales).. and healthcare (you mean like... erm... the NHS!)

getting rid of cars and planes.... you mean like signing up to agreements like the paris climate change agreement... and setting targets like the uk of getting rid of diesel cars by 2040....

and as for the racist stuff.... i let what he says speak for itself...

you might not believe its racists.... but if the racists think you are racist, and you are speaking to them... then you have a problem

p.s.... yes its racist! you aren't the intended target, i am! you can make all the excuses you want... but when you ever get "go home" spoken to you with venom... then you might understand.....

getting rid of cars and planes.... you mean like signing up to agreements like the paris climate change agreement... and setting targets like the uk of getting rid of diesel cars by 2040....

and as for the racist stuff.... i let what he says speak for itself...

you might not believe its racists.... but if the racists think you are racist, and you are speaking to them... then you have a problem

p.s.... yes its racist! you aren't the intended target, i am! you can make all the excuses you want... but when you ever get "go home" spoken to you with venom... then you might understand.....

"

Lol it’s laughable those comments, that’s dems in a nutshell,

And sorry remind me the tweet that trump aimed at you ? Or how your the intended target ,, mate it’s a joke can’t simply label someone a racist because you don’t like them , that’s almost worse

And what email had venom

Do you mean the email that said “ come back “ lol

Nazis above but you focus on trying to make out trump is a bad person

"Is tulsi gabbard still going and is she a serious contender?

tulsi is an interesting one... very much to the left like bernie, but she is actually way more of a hawk than a dove on syria and iran... plus she had some very iffy views in the past on LGBT issues....

she has basically been squeezed out of the progressive lane by Sanders and Warren... could absolutely see her ending up being someones "sec of defense" in the next democratic led administration

Don’t be silly, I think the dems tactics of everything in the world is free, get rid of cars and planes, socialism, open borders ,8 and a half month abortions and calling everyone a racist is doing fine "

it was one state... virginia...

Under current Virginia law, third-trimester abortions are only permitted if the risk to the mother's life is "substantial and irremediable" - language that Democrats wanted removed.

The Democratic bill sought to allow for late-term abortions if the mother's physical or mental safety were at risk .

Beto O’Rourke

Cory Booker

Steve Bullock

Pete Buttigieg

Julian Castro

John Delaney

Kristen Gillibrand

Any Klobuchar

Bernie Sanders

Barack Obama In 2003 said, he suggested that the government should not restrict late-term abortion at all.

And I quote

The issue of late-term abortion is certainly not a made-up issue. There are more late-term abortions than gun homicides committed annually in the United States. And according to a 2013 study, conducted by professors at the University of California, San Francisco, “data suggest most women seeking later terminations are not doing so for reasons of fetal anomaly or life endangerment.” Just last month, BuzzFeed News profiled a healthy woman who aborted her healthy baby at 21 weeks, mere days before the child was old enough to survive outside the womb.

You’re welcome

You haven't proved anything other than that there was stoked up controversy and confusion about this.

The part of the bill concerning third trimester abortions was about reducing the number of doctors required to certify it, and allowing abortions in the case of threat to the mother's health - which we have in this country also. You should probably get on to the UK government and ask why they're killing so many babies.

I think many people need to step back and look at the anti abortion ('pro life' as they like to call themselves) movement with a very critical eye.

Let me point out some inconsistencies in the movement:

Also pro capital punishment for children. Also anti single payer (government supplied health care) and therefore pro babies and mothers dying because they cant afford neonatal healthcare. Also pro removal of state and federal welfare programs, so pro starving the poor.

When one looks at the anti-abortion movement in the round it is clear they are not pro life at all, and what they really are is pro males having total control of women's reproduction, just like Islamic fundamentalists. They are in fact dark age Puritan Christians and need to be consigned to history rather than supported.

You’re welcome

actually... you'll find that all there positions is not to more abortion laws from there it is currently set... which is why people turn around and look at the likes of alabama, missouri, mississippi, ohio and other republican lead state administrations to get round Roe vs Wade....

so yeah... if you are going to lie.... own the lie!

Mate it’s completely fine to admit you haven’t looked into these DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES stance on third trimester abortion, that’s cool

It’s takes a lot of time to find the info it’s cool. Well it dosent really I’m just trying to give you an out, and no it’s not about the well fair of the mother either."

so which ones of those candidates have said they would change the position from what is currently held under roe vs wade...

legitimate news source please... and not one of your alt right websites...

look.. you can continue to press the lies... i'll just keep calling you out on them!

you talked shit so far... then added another pile....

Ok so your saying democrats aren’t against late term abortion, please look into the following and see what they think:

Beto O’Rourke

Cory Booker

Steve Bullock

Pete Buttigieg

Julian Castro

John Delaney

Kristen Gillibrand

Any Klobuchar

Bernie Sanders

Barack Obama In 2003 said, he suggested that the government should not restrict late-term abortion at all.

And I quote

Lol so you admit you haven’t looked for yourself, I’m laughing but to be fair not really surprised as you seem to get almost everything wrong

So I’ve got to post a link for everyone I’ve mentioned lol that would be wayyyyy to many links

I will help you out mr lazy, type in the name and add late term abortion after it, click search and go through the results, may take a little searching as won’t always be link 1 or 2 but it’s there.

Took me a long time to do it but as you see I haven’t put down every democrat presidential candidate as not all of them have this stance.

It’s called research and thinking for yourself

Good luck buddy

why should i be the one to look.... you are the one making the allegations, you should be the one to produce the proof to substaniate your claims...

I am turn around an say... the sky is green, and if you asked me for proof and i was to say "well look it up for yourself" i'd look silly...

I know that none of the candidiates have moved for the situation that they see the law under roe vs wade as settled law... and they would not change it....

you are saying that is not true... so i am asking you for proof... if you were so cock-sure you could prove it, you'd have had the links up by now....

so again... please supply legitimate news sources that the position of ANY democratic candidate is to move from the position of where "Roe vs Wade" currently lies...... thank you...

Ok wow what an interesting hour searching the Internet I’ve had ( no porn I may add )

As honestly I didn’t know about roe v Wade, so I had a look at what it was and how it worked. I then can see that we were both right that yes the dems stand by roe v wade but that does include late term abortions

I looked more into it

Then looked at planned parenthood and who they were and seen how much they fund the dems ,,, and it’s a hell of a lot, a lot lot ,, also they are tax exempt

https://www.factcheck.org/2018/05/planned-parenthood-2/

So then ok is there a link to this and how the dems candidates “ current stance “ on abortion

O good god yes there was ,, shit there was and seems like all is not what it seems and why they all sing off the same hymn sheet

Please read the link below, all of it, the start is very dry and all about stats but good god does it open up ,,,,, shit

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/thehill.com/opinion/healthcare/435624-2020-dems-stances-abortion-unjust-and-ignorant%3famp

Please refer to some of the following:

The senators who are now running for president

Beto O’Rourke and sex selective abortions

Kampala Harris hypocrisy

John Delaney,,, just wow

Cory Booker, opposes the Partial-Birth abortion ban act ( that is definitely worth looking up )

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.nationalreview.com/corner/cory-booker-lies-about-his-abortion-extremism-marjorie-dannenfelser/amp/

So yes they all support late term abortion and roe v wade but fucking hell we can now see why due to there funding and we can see what they really believe in behind close doors

see... here is the position of every single candidate that has said they were running for president in 2020.... in one handy article....

https://www.vox.com/2019/6/22/18693279/abortion-rights-2020-democrats-hyde-amendment-roe

and the thing you are criticising... the weird thing is that the UK abortion law allows for termination at the same point as US law.... So when you have a "go" remember that the UK doesn't hold the power of moral authority here...

and as for planned parenthood... just how much did you really look into them, because they are the Biggest provider of ALL sorts of womens repoductive and health services in the US, they don't just deal with abortion advice... they is just a small part of what they do.... they basically do everything women related the NHS takes care off... from cancer, to IVF, to menopause, gynocology, maternity services ect ect ect

and they get zero federal funding....

so it weird that men get federal funding for things like... lets say ED and Viagra, but women don't.... or is that just "men looking out for men!"

As I said we were both correct, but what is quite clear is before most put their name into the presidential candidate hat they had very very different views on abortion.

But of course to be a dem candidate they had to change “ their views “ to fit in with planned parenthood who is a huge donator to the party

So yes to the camera they say the same but really that’s not what they think

So Beto was happy to have a babies aborted if it wasn’t the sex they wanted along with Harris and Warren

John Delaney loosening abortion rights after vids came about of planned parenthood harvesting and sellings body parts of aborted babies

And the senators now candidates who voted against Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This act would would have ensured babies that survive abortions are given appropriate medical care.

Let’s not forget Cory Booker who told Planned Parenthood that he "oppose[s] the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act," signaling his support for the (currently illegal) practice of killing children as they are born.

I guess your happy with all the above yeah ??

Does seem that money talks and for a few mill you can make the dems say what you like

I don't like what you are insinuating... but i'll let it slide...

just because if i was to replace "dems" withs "republicans"...... and "planned parenthood" with "NRA"..... this would be a truer relationship would it not?

Yeeeeesssss woo hoo change the subject lol, well I guess that’s over with then, better luck next time

Let it slide lol , I’m just want to know if these are the kind of people you support ?

Yes I’m fully aware of the NRA and the republicans but as I’m Welsh US politics makes no difference to me I’m neither for dems, reps, trump or any of the candidates it makes no difference to my life

I only stick up for people who are being unfairly treated or lied about, that would include you also . But as you unfairly bash trump I’m happy to prove you wrong every time or point out the bad things and facts that you seen to defend and hold dear

To be fair you could say I’m helping you to be a better person

"if you want to know how quickly this is going to whittle down...

the next debate is on ABC in september... to qualify for that you must get at least 2% in 4 national polls and have at least 130,000 unique people contribute to your campaign..

so far only 7 people have hit this, it has to be done by the end of August...

Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Pete Butigieg, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Beto o'rouke

you are going to see a lot of people being "persauded" to drop out if they aren't on that stage... for example Hickenlooper because he would have a very good chance of unseating the republican in the Colorado Senate Race, Beto for the same reason possibly challenging in the Texas Senate race"

just a quick update.... thought i'd bring it back to the actual topic in hand rather than the "hijack"....

Amy Klobachar and Andrew Yang (cue the yang gang) have now qualified for the next debates bringing the field up to 9..... the others have 3 weeks left to reach the qualifying criteria......

It's as rigged this time round as it was last time, only the ones who got hijacked are now doing the hijacking.

Sanders team was tech savvy millennials and they've branched out with the help of big donors into the mob business.... There gonna make you an offer you can't refuse
