They have been voted in to represent the interests of those opposed to EU federalism so surely they should do that? The comparison to Sinn Fein or Nazis is ridiculous, in my opinion.

How many MEPs from other countries turned their backs on the opening session of the Parliament? None. Nada. Zilch. Brexiteers, you are well and truly on your own with this one. "It just shows what a bunch of plebs Farage and his entourage are! They cannot even behave like adults when representing the UK ffs " Ah yes, Nige's Brexit Party following the example of the NAZI Party, but lets not forget the equally outrageous showing of the LibDems walking round the EU parliament in their orange T shirts emblazoned with 'bollox to brexit'. Not sure which should be most insulted, those they represent or the whole of the EU whose democracy they are bringing into disrepute. With luck both lots will be censured and banned without pay or expenses for a suitable period (maybe till 31 Oct).

" At no point did I suggest that this is the only thing that has brought the European Parliament, Commission or any other part of the EU's apparatus of government into disrepute. However I still maintain that such conduct in the Parliamentary Chamber needs to attract some sort of serious disciplinary action. That you are reduced to a 'what aboutism' to defend the indefensible betrays the total bankruptcy of your position.

"i think the difference between the lib dems and the brexit party is that lib dems are there to be part of the political process.... whereas the brexit party position is there are there NOT to be a part of the political process... thats where you can use the comparison of the brexit party and sinn fein... sinn fein take the stand to not send mp's to parliament... brexit party voted against all issues (even those that benefit britain such as laws changing lorry safety for example, the ban in the ivory trade being another, food safety, extra protection of holidaymakers, greater transpacy in clinical medical trials.. ect ect ) remember farage was famously part of the EU fishing committee and attended all of 1 of the 75 meetings they had when he was on it..... " Surely being there, in whatever capacity, is being a part of the political process? Just because they don't do what you think they should doesn't mean they aren't a part of the political process.

Really? Where have you been for the last 6 weeks? No deal is not Boris's policy as he's said clear as day at EVERY conservative party husting over the last 6 weeks, that he's going to try to get a deal, but if a deal can't be reached he'll leave with no deal on October 31st. Interesting that people like Amber Rudd, who were previously against no deal, are now saying they would be prepared to back no deal, if a deal can't be reached by October 31st. Maybe the European election results will have focused the minds of many Tory MP's. Also (and you always do this) you are overlooking all those Labour MP's in Leave voting areas of the Midlands and the North. 26 of them who wrote a letter to Corbyn telling him not to back a 2nd referendum. Many of them have said if it comes to a choice between no deal, and no brexit then they will vote for no deal.

" two things... 1) interesting that you mention Amber Rudd.... quick question, do you know what her majority is in here hastings and rye seat? its 346.... remember when people were talking about how tight peterborough was! peterborough is in effect roughly twice as safe! so i would suggest her position change comes from one of self preservation! in that any challenge from a brexit party candidate would likely split the vote! 2) if you think the conservatives are now going to gain seats in places where they haven't before... then you have to acknowledge that Bojo is so Toxic in scotland that the conservatives would lose every seat they have to the SNP

There is no clear mandate for what you demand however much you stamp your feet. The fact that your mendacious hero is refusing to rule out suspending Parliament to force an outcome against the UK parliamentary sovereignty that you claim to hold so dear is ample evidence of that. Amber Rudd wants to stay in Cabinet for her own reasons. Margot James resigned to vote against prorogation and Hammond and Gauk arw leaving if Bodger is elected. The EU election results focus the minds of those in remain supporting seats just as much as leave ones. Uxbridge for instance. The majority of the Labour party wants to remain and certainly does not want no deal. It's the refuge of the naieve to believe in clarity in a situation like this.
