"Feels unexpected vote winners for their target market. Suspect Birmingham is gettind some extra love as the brexit message there was (in places) tailored for the community... And the wider standard TBP ethos may resonate less. He more interested when they get to real policies such as NHS, pensions, wider spending, rather than a few headline projects " Indeed but it's a start I guess

Tho I thought they went public with this yonks ago. Was hoping for something a bit more substantial... Its a interesting situation given Brexit is cross party, how they will get non Brexit polices to appeal to many...

"So it's looking like The Brexit Party is making a move on policies at last Farage's plan to rebuild Britain: Brexit Party leader plots £200 BILLION scheme to rejuvenate regions outside London by scrapping the foreign aid budget and HS2 while refusing to pay Brussels' 'divorce bill' So, £200 billion of plans. Focusing outside of bloody London will be nice. Scrapping the Aid budget is controversial but many will agree with it. Scrapping HS2 I don't know enough about HS2 to formulate an opinion and the Brussels £39 quid well that's his stance. The Brexit Party leader will unveil the bold plan, which includes rebuilding the transport system and free broadband for all homes at a rally in Birmingham. If Scrapping HS2 is his way I wonder what rebuilding the transport system entails. I don't see free broadband for everyone a necessity, nice but not a priority for government expenditure. So Scrapping HS2 and foreign aid and flipping Brussels the finger would still leave the Brexit party needing to find an extra £47billion from other sources. I know its only a small handful of ideas / policies. What do you think? " He will nevr be PM sdo ikrrevilent although scrapping HS2 is a no brainer the sooner the better.Maybe after Brexit he can form a scrap HS2 party

The question should be which part of HS2 comes first. It should be the cross country route joining Leeds to Manchester and then the North-South line to add the capacity that is needed. I believe that it was phased the other way around as it is geographically less challenging for the engineering, bit not convinced.

"It's all seems very expensive. What happened to fiscal responsibility. Has there been a sudden bloom of money trees for the brexiters.Farage/Boris /Cunt have all been talking big spending plans. It all reminds me of the pub landlords al Murray and his pledge of a penny a pint if you elect him. " I'll vote for that. Can they also guarantee sunshine everyday forever?

"Our EU settlement is for things WE have already agreed with the EU , eg pensions , so am I correct in assuming that Farage has agreed not to claim any pension due to him as he no longer wants us to contribute ?" BREXIT Party MEPs are only meant to be there until we leave the EU. I would have thought that was obvious. As for what we are supposed to owe them, they can be sure that we have been paying our ‘dues’ for far too long already, so they can keep that and be done with. Nige will be standing for parliament in the next general election, and so even if we are still stuck in this rut, he will still have to give up his seat as an MEP.

He has his previous 19 years odd of pension. Plus, I'd imagine, a golden goodbye.

I think its a pay as you go scheme. So nothing we have paid to date has been to cover future pension liabilities. It's about a quarter to a third of the divorce bill...

"Jesus Christ, this manifesto sounds like it has more potential to go hard left economically than labour. No evidence for funding streams, so I guess it's all borrowing and tax?" You know that grammar schools will get into the mix. "More money" for the NHS and Police and armed forces. Tax cuts too probably. All tied with a pretty anti-immigrant policy bow.

"Jesus Christ, this manifesto sounds like it has more potential to go hard left economically than labour. No evidence for funding streams, so I guess it's all borrowing and tax?" Once we get to the real meat of the manifesto, things will get interesting because there are both natural left wing and natural right wing politicians in the Brexit mix and so the actual manifesto should be quite an interesting read and somewhat compromised.

"Sounds like a toy town manifesto that would appeal to those with child-like simplicity of thought. I'd expect someone like an apprentice to be able to knock something like this in a couple of hours. Some of the masses have been so well conditioned by their rich overlords funding brexit for their own ends, including mopping up assets from their doe-eyed sycophants, it's great relief" Spot on

Johnson, Hunt and now Farage all promising to splurge the cash. What cash, you ask? Corbyn: I'll borrow to invest in infrastructure Media: No, stop this maniac, he'll bankrupt Britain. "One of the credit ratings agencies today is predicting two things in the event of a hard exit on October 31: a) a recession (we are pretty close to it as it is) b) a downgrading of the sovereign credit rating (which makes Government borrowing more expensive) They also predict a sharp spike in inflation. Which in turn puts pressure on the Bank of England to raise interests. Which in turn puts pressure on industry investment decisions and stretched mortgage payers. " The risk of anything is worth it if it brings Brexit to many people ..

" Free broadband, so you can monitor dissenters to his regime, £200 billion, the north and midlands have been so deprived since 2010 we need 1 trillion to bring them back to pre tory rule. HS2, its worth it, it will drive growth and move people put of the capital and distribute the wealth in the midlands and the north. Scrapping the FA budget, its short sighted, because most of that money goes into driving international trade with foreign countries, and when your precious brexit delivered then you cannot grease the palms of your would be trade partners. In short, the policies are myopic, and are not the panacea this country needs. Supporters for this party are so thirsty, for the brexit party to throw from the table, they would be grateful, and these polices are a joke.
