"So much of this makes sense when you spin the position. Quite a lot of people hope and pray for the eu to fail, and would actively act to try and make this happen if they can. They would rather do the opposite of pull their weight and take responsibility, to try destroy the eu just to feel they are 'right'. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is incredibly dangerous. Quite a few who initially voted leave in good faith are actually changing their minds instead, as they are starting to see through the whole charade. I'm so glad this isn't the early 1940's. Just surrender to a no deal brexit so we can end this war! All those soldiers out there making things worse for us. Look how many jobs have been lost because they won't see sense."

Give me one example of an industry that will benefit from leaving the EU? Try to answer the OP?

"Quite a lot of people hope and pray for our independence to be able to fail, and would actively act to try and make this happen if they can. They would rather do the opposite of pull their weight and take responsibility, to try destroy the whole country just to feel they are 'right'. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is incredibly dangerous. Thankfully, other countries in the EU (or certainly people in them) are rooting for our successful freedom, as they would then be galvanised into making their own bids for independence. It's worth losing the UK to the EU superstate on our way to a world dictatorship as planned. Just let them have what they want. If we don't they will continue to persecute us and hurt our feelings bubbles. Short term convenience is key so we need to maintain the status quo. No European country could ever survive without the EU. Greece for example with 50% unemployment for young people etc. How could they ever have had so many job increases if they'd left the EU? The popular media with their owners would never push an agenda 24/7, they just report things fairly. The EU really is like Hell. Once you're in, you can never ever leave. As I said on the day of the result, the real fight starts now. Stop the uncertainty and just fully leave, then we can start to deal with the damage caused by the uncertainty, brought about entirely by Treason Mayhem and her mob. Stop telling leave voters they didn't really vote leave. Most leavers aren't changing their mind no matter how long you drag this out. Quite a few who initially voted remain in good faith are actually changing their minds instead, as they are starting to see through the whole charade. I'm so glad this isn't the early 1940's. Just surrender so we can end this war! All those soldiers out there making things worse for us. Look how many jobs have been lost because they won't see sense." We are independent. Any treaty surrenders some "independence" because you agree to follow a set of rules so your decisions are constrained. Do you disagree? The bigger and more complex the treaty, be it defence or climate change or trade, the more "independence" you "surrender". However, if all the parties involved benefit then that is what they agree to do then that is fine. Do you disagree? What agreement can you name where you do not "surrender" some "independence"? Are you claiming that the financial and social situation that the UK and other countries find themselves in is someone else's fault? Do you really believe that? That someone else is to blame for the choices we have made? What do you think leaving the EU will solve in people's everyday lives? Much of the UK press is owned by a man who wants to leave the EU because it constrains his power yet you claim the "media"is lying to you. You just choose to read and believe what re-enforces your opinions. Support for the EU has risen in every member outside of the UK. Even the populist parties want to remain and change it. They, in fact, want more money from richer States with less responsibility for how it's spent. Have a look on Google trends. You will see that the UK search results for the EU spiked after the vote. You will see that immigration was searched for far more than the economy. You will find that all Leavers said that a "no deal" was "project fear". How dare you invoke the war and try and associate yourself with the bravery of the people who built the institutions that you want to tear down. Read outside your information bubble and try to actually think through some of the consequences of the actions that you are so eager to embrace.

In exchange for the biggest free trade area on the planet, we harmonised our VAT and tariff rates. It's taken us several years to renegotiate a 0% tax rate, but that happens when you renegotiate any international treaty. What else are you upset about? Are we just going to run through the standard list that gets rebutted every time we go through this process

Given the UK gets involved in most conflicts as it is maybe our forces would be sent to fight less frequently if the EU was deciding rather than our politicians who follow the US into wars. I am NOT suggesting an EU Army is a good thing but at least explain why it's bad.

Yet we have 5% of VAT out of the current 20% that is under our control that can be reduced yet the government do not wish to which would easily reduce any burden that a bit of VAT imposes on a sanny.

Are you saying that I am not entitled to accept the opinions of some highly successfull business men but instead accept the opinions of people posting on here . I am not referring to you ( for the purposes of clarity) but there are a few posters who seem to be logged on here non stop and their views removed from the real world .. If we leave on no deal terms then deals will materialise shortly afterwards . On a simplistic basis the EU cannot afford to lose our business . Cheaper food and clothing prices benefit the less well off in society . I even pasted in a detailed analysis of the scenario.

My question also begs Lets say my Jeans cost £ 12 after the discount and next year the pound tanks and loses 20% of it'value, how can my jeans still be £ 12 next year. and not mean the price actually goes up 20% so they will be £ 14.40 or mean that the bangladeshi manufacturer has to absorb the loss or lose our business. Somebody has got to lose out here. Can somebody explain to me who LOL. Surely some people in Bangladesh are relying on my custom. Maybe it's designer goods that will become cheaper. This is a bit sketchy so someone may be able to confirm details... The eu looked at removing tax on tampon and care items. An amended version of this lost by one vote. However (and I'm not 100% on this) not all Meps voted... And I believe farage and other ukip/TBP were among these. (happy to be corrected on this. Naviagting eu websites isn't the easiest on the phone) Of course it doesn't stop the point that there may be eu rules we don't like. And can't change. But it does show the eu can change. And the risk of putting anti eu Meps into roles.
