Who else agrees that brexit will be the end of the torys? Even boris was hinting about it yesterday, sometimes to end a regime such as this, the only thing that can dethrone them is a catastrophic event such as brexit.

"Why does everyone seem to think that labour would do any better ? "
Because they are delusional.

We can but hope.

No they will just disappear into the doldrums while some else fucks up or does a mediocre job.

Just like the Lib Dem’s were supposedly down and out.

The conservatives have too many wealthy players in the background with a vested interest to simply shrivel up.

Circles and patterns.

I wouldn't mind - but careful what you wish for. The last thing we need is the Brexit Party taking their place.

I know that sounds a bit mental - but look where we are already.

If we do not pull out in October it may well be at least in the short term

"If we do not pull out in October"

We will be out at the end of October, this recent extension is the EU's final warning, if no plan is put forward then we will be kicked out of the EU under No Deal.

It amazes me people still swallow the same rhetoric we have heard for two years.

If any of the candidates had a cunning plan, I think we might have heard of it by now. After all, they're in the fucking Government.

All we hear is just more of the Maybot rhetoric.

Nothing has changed - neither the delusion, the parliamentary arithmetic nor the EU implaccability.

Exactly what Rory Stewart is saying. Shame no Leavers want to hear it.

if they do go... and brexit makes things worse straight away (even most brexiteers admit things will go bad in the short term) no way they win in 2022... they will get blamed and they would get slaughtered
