Grantham

Two bands that have violent anti-Conservative songs and views have been booked to play at Glastonbury.

Killdren and Fat White Family have both advocated killing Conservatives, sometimes in very violent ways.

Whilst I appreciate that Glastonbury is mainly a "socialist love in", I feel that this is a step too far and deserves the condemnation it is now attracting.

Not aware of the specific songs but yes totally inappropriate and woukd hope across the political spectrum the elected representatives will have nothing to do with what they are saying..

Let's be honest there are a minority on the far sides of both the left and right that are on the extreme or have crossed the line, although yet to see any leftie using the mental health excuse for this story as actually happened on here when Jo Cox was murdered..

Pop festivals are meant to be about peace and love and Glastonbury started out that way.It should still be like that,I like and enjoy protest music it is a good way of getting a message across but anything that talks about violence in any way to another human,if they did this on the web they may be arrested under the terrorism laws. This should also apply to music and poetry etc.Sadly it is socialism that preaches violence not the tories,Corbynites should look a bit deeper into these things, they may start to think twice.

The left seems to support terrorist groups and is anti samitic, okay you get suspended maybe but not expelled by someone who disagrees, very very dangerous.Yet these people thing Farage is dangerous believe me the current labour party is the real danger to this country

I remember venues tearing up bookings from a band that had "I love Tommy Robinson" songs. Too provocative. This is the same.

I thought the far right was mad for supporting free speech! Or is it only right wing free speech that's allowed?

Yes I agree although I know nothing about that I went to the festivals Between 70 and sat 75(showing my age)yes protest songs made you think lots of political stalls about the enviorment, the beginnings of the green party but all peacefull.

Corbyn should not have been allowed to appear at Glastonbury two years ago, equally Farage should not be ever allowed. It would be sad for these wonderful music event to be political,it is about music and love not politics. No politics at these events pleae please please

There's a whole list of movies also.

Clockwork orange comes to mind and deep throat was banned until the year 2000.

Deep throating while watching clockwork orange should get you a place on the Sex offenders register for life or chemical castration or whatever turns the good and righteous on and gives them a sense of superiority.
