"An assault is an assault regardless who it's committed on. In my opinion the person who perpetrated this act should be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible under the law. I've absolutely no time for Tommy R or his ilk but I have even less time for people who choose to use violence to show their opposition. We don't need to lower ourselves to Tommy's standards in order to defeat him." Chucking a milkshake on someone is comparable to promoting violence and race hate. In the video, Tommy R and some of his henchmen get a round of punches in on the kid before he escapes.

" Pelting disliked politicians with rotten fruit, eggs and soaking them in cold water and the contents of chamber pots at the hustings and while campaigning for election has been a part of UK politics for hundreds of years. In fact it has been pointed to over generations as a sign of exactly how healthy our political system is. Funny how over the last 25/30 or so years as many become more and more disaffected with our politicians and they in turn have become more openly nothing more than self promoters for sale to the highest bidder this tradition has become criminalised. Even funnier how a politician and his henchmen are able to attack someone for throwing a milkshake and somehow they are the victims. But hey, this is just my opinion and it counts for nothing.

Yaxley Robinson or whatever he's called thrives on the gutter elements so assaulting him albeit with a milkshake only allows him to play the victim and react with other more direct violence..

"'Speaking to Asian Image, Mahmud said he had been left shaken by the incident. He added: “I was in Warrington for a meeting and afterwards was on my way home. I had to pass this group of people. “He [Robinson] just kept talking to me. I kept moving location. I was the only Asian guy there. I said to him I do not wish to speak to you on or off camera. I just got annoyed with him. A milkshake ‘slipped’ out of my hand. “I had no intention of doing anything or reacting in any way. But he kept talking. I feel a bit shaken up and shocked to be honest.”' Sounds like Yaxley-Lemon was hassling someone and they had a go back at him. Seems fair enough to me. " Thats a gross misinterpretation of what happened. The footage is all online on Youtube. The asian guy who attacked Tommy Robinson with a milkshake had earlier in the day also attacked (physically assaulted) 2 women in Warrington town centre. What did the 2 women do to deserve being attacked? They had apparently spoken up for Tommy Robinson. Police failed to arrest the asian guy when the 2 women had made official complaint and the asian guy had continued to loiter around before he attacked Tommy Robinson. The asian guy is a thug who should face the full force of the law, its astonishing that the police failed to act. Its also funny to see the double standards and hypocrisy from some people like Ian Dunt and Kevin Maguire, who had condemned the fact Jeremy Corbyn was egged a few weeks ago but then celebrated Tommy Robinson having a milkshake thrown at him.

I watched the footage and it did seem like an argument that degenerated into thuggish behaviour but yaxley-lennon was provocatively stepping into mr milkshakes personal space while his “minders” circled around. It was hardly a no fault situation, unlike the egging of Jeremy Corbyn who was sitting down when he was attacked.

Well said. I , too actually bothered to watch the whole video , not the doctored media video ( as per usual) . Not only did the cop not arrest the guy, the same guy kept goading and filming Tommy well after the incident , even with the police still there , because he knew they wouldnt arrest him. And then the video of the attacker in a taxi afterwards where hes laughing about it . But apparently " he dropped the milkshake accidentally " yeah yeah you twat ![]() So race hate + violence = okay. Confronting race hate + chucking a milkshake on a violent racist = not okay? Just making sure I understand your point.

" "Slipped"? If he's the guy in the video I saw, it was no slip, it was a deliberate act. I dislike Robinson, but violence is not the way to deal with him.

"Hero to many on here. Ultra nazi Tommy Robinson got a strawberry milkshake dumped on his head by someone while out canvassing for more racists to vote for him in the European elections. Nice. hakr Shame it wasn’t a mango lassie, or some other foreign beverage. " Like it or not it is a criminal offence to throw a milk shake at someone and can hardly be considered to be the actions of a responsible person. Hopefully his employers ( I believe he works in a call centre) will now sack him. He hardly shows his employer in a good light by behaving in this manner.

This is the criteria which I have always used and see no need to change it. Luckily the feedback or comments which you receive on these forums is irrelevant, what is crucial is that which you receive in real life . If I have the choice between making decisions based on your comments and those which I receive in real life you can guess whose feedback I would prefer to accept. The act isn't new, the moral and legal ability to do so clearly is though. Corbyns attacker was given a month in prison and roundly condemned. This attacker has been held up as doing the right thing and was let off by the police with a lift to the train station. This is a classic case of why the regressive left always eats itself in the long run, it has no moral objections on point of principle because in reality it has no principles, everything is tolerated providing it's in the name of the lefts agenda.

" I don't know why you engage, to be honest. Its obvious from the posts he/she/it isn't worth engaging with. " This is a classic case of why the regressive left always eats itself in the long run, it has no moral objections on point of principle because in reality it has no principles, everything is tolerated providing it's in the name of the lefts agenda. The "lefts agenda" of not sitting their and accepting verbal abuse whilst a racist thug with his goons is getting in your face about why your people are the problem and need to be kicked out of the country? As for the other stuff, the right have been doing that for years to get where they are, why is it an issue when the other team tries it? ![]() . If the other team did it I'd be against it on a point of principle that everybody has the right to run for election free from violence and political intimidation. Anna soubrey has the right to give interviews and walk from parliament without being jostled by protesters, Jeremy Corbyn has the right, people running for the communist party or the green party and even the BNP have the right. You don't have to respect what they say but you do have to respect their right to say it.

"I always use any information available to assess both the commercial risk and the safety factor to others of decisions which I make . I have used the correlation between petty crime and other crimes for a very long time . Suppose its similar to those who constantly talk twaddle and refuse to clarify or confirm the basis of their postings, eventually most people will make the correlation that they don't have a clue what they are talking about? As far as I am aware these forums exist in order to allow people to express an opinion . If someone wants a detailed analysis of the facts they are probably on the wrong site or have too much spare time on their hands. Back up does not really help as people only provide that who which suits their case and in any event why would anyone want to do it on a site such as this. You probably don’t even see the irony in your own post - I bet it goes right over your head. You put-down the opinions, suggestions and arguments of others as being irrelevant because “no one takes a site like this seriously” - other than when it is an argument that you support. And yet, you are becoming a prolific user (again) making your own arguments and suggestions on this site as to why (in this instance) a guy should lose his job or be charged with assault. " Everyone can post any opinion that they wish on this site and my post never suggested otherwise. It would be a strange world if everyone had the same opinion. What I found odd was that a poster who never expresses any original opinions but constantly spends time criticiding other posters should ask for back up to an opinion. This site might be useful to pass idle time if waiting for a train or plane, no rational person is going to use it as a source of information. Anyone who is an expert on a topic in real life is hardly going to spend their spare time posting about it on here.

The politics forum hardly attracts an audience that represents all sections of society. So why are you posting if you have such a low opinion of the forum? From the way you describe your motivation I would have thought you have better things to do? But perhaps you are just making it all up? After all if you cannot provide sources or links to reference them then the only conclusion one can draw is that they don't exist and you are a fantasist. ![]() I never said that I had a low opinion of it , what I said was that it was unlikely that anyone would use it as a source of information. In real life I do not ask for sources or links - where necessary I will look them up myself.

If you are happy to voice an opinion “on a site like this” why would others not want to have an opinion or challenge a contrary one? The attempts to discredit others from disagreeing with your opinion because “no-one takes a site like this seriously” is a little contradictory when you are using the very same site to make your argument. Everyone can post any opinion that they wish on this site and my post never suggested otherwise. Bullshit.. Hi. I would like to think that I can spend my spare time in a more constructive manner than posting comments like you have just made. It is very easy to type the comments which you have just made onto a keyboard- in real life you would not dare make such comments to a persons face. Your funny Pat.. When you have in the past asked for opinions on which boiler to install or which washing machine was best for a property what we're you asking for given you place no stead by anyone's opinion but your own on here..? Oh and yes I have done and would do.. Hi. You must spend a lot of time trawling my posts to be able to comment on that level of detail. Most people consider other people's opinions , hence the reason for asking the questions. Most of the replies received were both informative and helpfull and in turn I would like to think that the advice that I have given other members helped them as well. Quite a few have written expressions of thanks . The politics forum seems to attract an entirely different type of person. "Of course evertonw is allowed an opinion. But imo not being able to back it up and pass it away as gut feel is intellectual snowflakism. Wanting something to be true doesn't make it true. Or it might be that the source of your information is so reliable that you do not need any information to back it up. In real life you are involved in continuous feedback loop. That is hardly the case on this site. There are also members on here posting facts and figures which they do not understand and have the base information completely wrong. Which is why I'd always want to look at the source data. Rather than take anyone's word on it. IMO no person is so reliable id take their word as fact. Even Hawkins and Einstein needed peer reviews. An that is why I never post source data as people can simply look it up themselves. It makes the posting of source data a bit pointless. " Especially when true source data dismantles your argument ![]()
