Seems our ward has changed... we've now got a totally new ward.... and so far had the new Lib Dem, Tory and Labour leaflets through the door. The Labour leaflet seems to have some substance to it talking about local schools, economy, services etc.. Both the Tory and Lib Dem new candidates look about 20 years old and just say "We'll get tough on parking".... ffs.

We’ve concluded that we would like the Conservatives to lose and for us these are the best options for ‘tactical’ voting

No at local level you vote for the candidate who will fight vociferously on local issues regardless of party

North West

Our local Facebook Groups are going apoplectic with people who seemingly have no idea what a local election is all about. It is truly embarrassing.

Disagree, you vote to send a message to the ‘ruling’ party that there approach is not acceptable. If it happens to lead to the same outcome as you suggest then great, however it is time we told this shambles what we really think!

I used to live in an area where the Tories ran the local government. All they did was post leaflets through doors complaining about travellers, and did fuck all about any actual local issues.

I try to speak to the candidates and also agree that the conservatives need to get the message overall that they are a failure.

They have also stripped £billions from local services, so I'll want to know the locals view on this.

Will vote tory to stop the left wing Marxist getting in as they have really infilltrated the labour party here.

The labour party was very corrupt but will now be even more corrupt if they get in again

Tend to agree with this in this most of the time, vote on local issues not national ones.Normally I vote for an independent candidate as party politics should not exist at local level.
