Makes you wonder why they wanted to leave at all if they’d never moaned about it in over 4 decades.

Each time the EEC and the EU evolved, the elected government of the UK voted for it - the single market, customs union, freedom of movement - or opted out - the euro.

So are we criminals for you? " Not for me. But then again, I have travelled Europe and learned about the Hapsburg Empire, the rise & fall of the iron curtain, the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall. However, English people always have and always will resent walking into a Welsh shop and finding the Welsh people talking in front of them in Welsh. Language is, sadly, a bit of a barrier and to be honest, to most ordinary Brits, Slavic & Balkan languages might as well be Egyptian Hierogliphics. Meanwhile, it is of course, perfectly acceptable for British people to talk in English whilst on holiday in Benidorm? In Britain, some 30 years ago, we regularly heard about Lech Walesa, the shipyards of Gdansk and the film Letter to Brezhnev.

The only Lisbon Treaty that there is is the one that came fully into effect in 2009. All the talk about 2022 Lisbon Treaty is quite simply totally made up and completely fake. There is also absolutely no way you or anyone else could have possibly looked at the 2022 Lisbon Treaty for exactly the same reason, no such document exists.

"Let's dispel a few Brexit related myths : Immigrants are net positive contributer to tax. A much smaller percentage of EU immigrants claim unemployment benefit then British born people. The UK had a massive influence on regulations created by the EU. It is partly why the UK was so respected. We also had more flexibility than other EU countries to put them into UK law (by the way, the UK govt was only voted against tariffs on cheap Chinese steel which is why the steel plants got into trouble). The likely impact of Brexit was outlined before the EU ref but it was labelled as project fear. Those that run the EU committee are no more unelected than the MPs that are appointed as Cabinet ministers. All MEPs are voted into their position. So few of us voted that we ended up with Farage becoming the UK voice. The vote was advisory, there was no reason for the Govt to act on the result, despite some MPs saying they have to. The EU town regeneration fund is largely responsible for a lot of towns and smaller cities in the UK being redeveloped, not the uk govt. Access to that money will no longer be available. " People have tried using facts for a long time. It doesn’t work. But well done for trying.

"The plan is simple. If May's deal doesn't pass next week (and I don't think it will) and Parliament votes against no deal and for an extension (and I think they will) May's plan is to seek a short extension up to July then run down the clock again until we're faced with exactly the same situation as now in the June. However, as her plan is not to hold the Euro Elections in May, we will not be able to extend past July; giving us an even bigger cliff edge and putting even more pressure on Parliament to eventually vote for her deal. It is absolutely imperative that, if BREXIT is delayed until July and we don't want to be in a worse situation in June than we are now, that the UK takes part in the Euro Elections in May. " Why would the EU agree to just kicking the can down the road?

So few of us voted that we ended up with Farage becoming the UK voice. The vote was advisory, there was no reason for the Govt to act on the result, despite some MPs saying they have to. The EU town regeneration fund is largely responsible for a lot of towns and smaller cities in the UK being redeveloped, not the uk govt. Access to that money will no longer be available. People have tried using facts for a long time. It doesn’t work. But well done for trying. Someone's got to. Facts are always someone's else's perception male Feel free to check them... " I'm not disputing your own input but the place that input came from most things can be skewed to fit the needs of the organisation. Male

" Why would the EU agree to just kicking the can down the road? " Maybe they would prefer it to a no deal brexit, which would be crap for everyone, mostly the UK obviously but not great for the EU either. They might even be hoping to give us enough time to have another referendum...

"If Brexit is cancelled then the biggest vote for anything, ever, in the entire history of the UK will have been betrayed. Democracy will be dead in the UK. What will I do personally? The first thing I would do is apply for membership at Nigel Farage's new Brexit party. I've already joined the Leave means Leave campaign in anticipation in case the will of 17.4 million British people (the 52%) to Leave the EU is betrayed. I will also be voting for Nigel Farage's Brexit party in the upcoming European MEP elections in May and sitting back to enjoy seeing a majority of Eurosceptic MEP's from all over Europe enter the European Parliament. In the words of a ukip representative speaking at the brexit betrayal rally last December, (taking inspiration from the Terminator film)...."we feel no pain, we feel no remorse, and we absolutely will not stop, ever, until we get hard Brexit. " Wow. So compromise is not possible. And you expect anyone who disagrees with you to simple give up and accept your hard version of brexit. You seem to be taking a leaf from the Ian Paisley DUP no surrender, not an inch, never.

"Brexit won't be cancelled, we just carry on as normal. As soon as we're out, watch the Frexit. They're next." No chance I can't see any country wanting to suffer like we have. Also a euro currency country would have to drop the euro, and any separate currency would take a deep sea dive!

How can you know what the French people want. Everyone sees what cesspool did you and others like you and your heroes who escaped do not know where and no one will even try to leave the Union. "if we do not leave the EU now, we will have to deal with the lisbon treaty post 2022, have a look at that it. You will see why it has been kept out of the news!" Just googled the Lisbon treaty and it's shocking. In a nutshell we lose everything. From our own laws, we hand over our fishing rights. We lose the pound and even being able to call ourselves a nation. And that's just a handful of things on the list. Hitler would be proud of what the e.u has achieved and gutted he never thought of taking over Europe this way

The real Lisbon Treaty came fully into effect in 2009. The fake, scare story Lisbon Treaty you have found on Google is just that;- fake and scarry.

It has been kept out of the news because it is just lies! I am astounded that you are competent enough to use google in order to find total crap, but utterly incompetent at checking multiple sources in order to verify the truth!

"Democracy is dead. We'll stand before Europe, cap in hand, stooped because our backbone is so flimsy. We sell the fishermen and farmers up the road. We make a mockery of our political system and where do you start with the self serving politicians? Yes it's a shambles, but has it all been for nothing? " You do know that British fishermen sold their quota’s to other EU fishing companies. So it isn’t the EU that has negatively impacted our fishermen. And farmers have received more subsidies from the EU than they ever did from the UK government. So yet again we blame the EU for something that they were either not part of or were actually providing benefit instead...

That's not quite true, yes quota deals happen, it doesn't mean that the 13% of quota for fish in our own waters is fair. Why are harbour villages across France and Belgium panicking? Maybe because they face the financial ruin that our harbours have faced since joining the EU. Yes both farmers and fishermen have prospered with EU funding, but they've suffered too, it's not a fair system and shouldn't be accepted any longer.
