You better hope we leave the EU before the European MEP elections in May then. Because if we don't I honestly think Tommy Robinson will be elected as a British MEP and that will give him the biggest platform he's ever had.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, been out of the loop with work.

But, even with an extension to article 50, are we actually allowed to elect MEPs this cycle?

Would Tommy go independent? If so he's likely to just divide the vote between UKIP and the Tories where he stands.

Racism is vital alright.

I’m not sure how I feel about de-platforming race hate. On one side, personally if I owned the platform, for sure I wouldn’t want it on. But on the other hand, I believe in freedom of speech, both allowing people to say any bollocks they want and allowing people to criticise them.

"Does anyone have a summary of both vids? I can’t youtube at work..."

Both vids? There is only one video. The link is in an earlier post to Panodrama on YouTube. In summary, Tommy Robinson plays the BBC Panorama team at its own game. The BBC plan to do a Panorama show about Tommy Robinson and try to get former disgruntled employees of Tommy Robinson to take part in the documentary. The BBC/Panorama crew work in collusion with the hope not hate campaign group on this (which they deny but the film shows the evidence that they are which calls into question the BBC's impartiality rules). The BBC and hope not hate then have a meeting with 2 male former disgruntled Tommy Robinson employees and attempt to blackma*l them to take part (they admit this in recorded audio telephone conversation). It seems lots of alcohol was consumed at the meeting. A hope not hate representative is then alleged to have sexually assaulted one of them after the meeting.

Then a former female employee of Tommy Robinson who had fell out with Tommy Robinson is contacted by the BBC and offered £5000 to take part in the BBC Panorama documentary. She tells Tommy Robinson about this so they meet and she agrees with Tommy to meet John Sweeney of Panorama for lunch. The BBC and John Sweeney are unaware and the woman wears a hidden camera to the meeting. It's all on film where John Sweeney trys to get the woman d*unk on BBC expenses, he tells her if she takes part in the documentary he can cut the film to fit a certain narrative, and even suggests to the woman she should make up a false sexual allegation against Tommy Robinson for the documentary. John Sweeney then goes on to call homosexuals "woofters" or "poofters", he compares white working class people to "cannibals in the Amazon" or "Aliens from outer space" and says Labour have made a mistake of talking like the middle class instead of talking like the working class like Tommy Robinson using language such as "fuck off" (is that how the working class are defined in his eyes?) he says people with Irish heritage are "scumbags" and he admits he likes to insult Greek people by speaking in Turkish to them. All of this is recorded on film on hidden camera. The woman and Tommy Robinson also use a fake text messaging website where they come up with a fake text message together and send it to the woman's phone to make it look as though it had come from Tommy Robinson's phone. When John Sweeney and the BBC are confronted by Tommy Robinson about the hidden camera footage then John Sweeney tries to use the false text message as evidence against Robinson. The Panorama team got Panoramerd, and got a taste of their own medicine. Tommy Robinson has got them bang to rights with the undercover footage.

The very next day after Tommy Robinson put the footage on Facebook then his Facebook account was removed. Collusion between the BBC and Facebook anyone? (especially now a certain Nick Clegg works there). What happened to free speech? Tommy Robinson was also deplatformed from Instagram which is a shoot off from Facebook. The Labour deputy leader Tom Watson working with hope not hate is also now trying to get Tommy Robinson and this video removed from YouTube. Forces are trying to remove Tommy Robinson from the Internet in the same way they removed Alex Jones of Infowars. The whole country needs to see this video to see how corrupt the BBC is.

He's banned from twitter and Facebook and I thought he wasn't banned from YouTube as Tom Watson of labour was calling for him to be banned a few days back .

I'm torn over deplatforming him because he's a gift to the left if he becomes the right wing poster boy and brexit champion .

Brexiters and the right fear him fucking up their agenda.

If you'd watch the video you'd see the only racism being displayed in it is coming from the BBC's John Sweeney of the Panorama team. I gave a brief summary of the film above in the thread.

Your efforts to sanitise Yaxley, or whatever name he uses, might dupe some.

Indeed, you appear to be part of a concerted PR effort involving rich extremists in the US to pitch Islam as extreme and Yaxley as the voice of moderate opinion.

"Here it is on Youtube if anyone wants to watch it, Panodrama, where the BBC gets a taste of its own medicine....

Seems like the BBC is utterly corrupt to the core.

Your efforts to sanitise Yaxley, or whatever name he uses, might dupe some.

Indeed, you appear to be part of a concerted PR effort involving rich extremists in the US to pitch Islam as extreme and Yaxley as the voice of moderate opinion.

I’d rather amputate a limb than waste my time on a marketing programme for the political ambitions of a convicted thug, fraudster and racist.

Then again, these threads are littered with your association with such types.

I'm not being paid by anyone and happy to do this for free. I actually believe in free speech unlike some on here, and when the BBC's corruption is laid bare as the Panodrama film shows I'm happy to help expose it.

The BBC has a long and tainted history, remember Jimmy Savile.

You always fall into this pattern. Anyone who is against Tommy Robinson and race hate must be a massive fan of the BBC.

Just like your Brexit arguments that anyone not in favour of blaming foreigners for everything must be a Corbyn supporter.

It’s often not black and white. Not all non-racists are BBC watching Corbyn supporters.

If you watch the hidden camera footage you'll see its John Sweeney who is the racist. He also exposes himself as classist and clearly looks down his nose at working class people.

How come all of a sudden you’re concerned about racism?

Besides if you genuinely thought he was, why on earth would you be interested in anything Tommy Robinson has to say!

You’re a paradox wrapped in an enigma. "

Because it's holier than thou, liberal, globalist tossers like John Sweeney who have been throwing accusations of racism towards Tommy Robinson for years, when all the time it appeats now he holds many racist and classist views himself. John Sweeney is a hypocrite and his hypocrisy has been exposed for the world to see. Panorama is also the flagship BBC investigative news programme, and now it has also been exposed as not being impartial, its corrupt, and has shown itself employing practices such as blackma*l and intimidation, willingness to falsify information and abuse of BBC expenses.

I see another of the followers of the hate preacher is behind bars after threatening Sajid Javid with being "hung, drawn and quartered" if anything bad happened to Robinson.

He doesn't half attract vermin to his cause.

Seems Donald Trump is fully justified to call the BBC fake news and this Panodrama film proves it.

That is so funny.

Just more Trumpland black-is-white and white-is-black nonsense.

You really have to be on the outer fringes of society to consider someone like Robinson as the oracle of truth and the BBC as the fountain of fiction.

It’s hard to keep a track of whether posters are anti bbc and anti Tommy. Or anti bbc and pro Tommy.

I’ve not seen panorama or the YouTube but I can see you can condone bbc without being pro Tommy. The end la don’t justify the means.

However it appears most people are supportive of Tommy while condemning the bbc here. Which may not be fair

Anyway, I look forward to watching some real journalism when the BBC exposes the hate mob that is the Robinson fan club.

You and your fellow hate-mongers must really be fearing the worst, when you resort to smearing the BBC before the programme is even aired.

Then again, given who is backing and funding Robinson from the United States, it's not really surprising.

Silence? I answered your question.

Who are the EDF?

I've never been a member of any political party. I joined Vote Leave as a volunteer during the EU referendum campaign and that's it.

If the establishment in this country betray Brexit and we don't leave the EU, then I will be applying for membership at Nigel Farage's new Brexit party.

Reported that John Sweeney is undergoing investigation by the BBC now and may face disciplinary action. Wouldn't be surprised if they fire him. It's what he deserves. As for the BBC Panorama on Tommy Robinson wouldn't surprise me if the BBC head honchos decide to bin it after this controversy and attempt to sweep the whole thing under the carpet.

"You are persistent in your efforts to depict that race-hate thug as some sort of victim deserving of sympathy.

Are you a member or supporter of any organisation he is associated with, past or present?

I don't have to attempt to depict anything. The Panodrama film is self evident. The BBC and John Sweeney have hung themselves with their own rope.

So John Sweeney, accused of saying something, bad.

Tommy One-issue Robinson, campaigns for years to promote hate against muslims, good?

Correction, John Sweeney not accused, but proven saying these things on hidden camera footage. "

Right, you’re missing the main point here. I know clearly that you’re incapable of looking at the whole picture on any issue, you’re unable to think logically. Eventually it stops being fun laughing at how ridiculous your statements are.

Just so you know what I’m talking about, you addressed John Sweeney, but failed to address Tommy Robinson and his campaign of hate in your reply.

Once again. Not every non-racist is a socialist. You'll find non-racists all over the political spectrum, with all different opinions on a wide range of topics.

I hope this helps.

"Here it is on Youtube if anyone wants to watch it, Panodrama, where the BBC gets a taste of its own medicine....

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNd2bvLvyK4

"

Intresting that as it seems to me anyone who voted to leave in your eyes is a racist and a tory pot kettle spring to mind.

Possible retaliation as a far left group had gone round to Tommy Robinson's house over the weekend. The BBC are a Tory propaganda machine and most people I talk with on politics understand this and despise them for their clear bias and misleading of the public. From their reporting of the ‘news’, to Newsnight, Question Time and even to these scare ‘docs’ they release to fall in line with Tory agenda - in topics such as Syria, The EU, Benefit Britain ‘docs’ etc.....

This isn’t really news as so many of us already understand the BBC are full of shit and are not to be taken remotely seriously.

However the same is true of Tommy Robinson. It’s a little bit funny hearing of a far right racist nutter going after the right wing propaganda wing of this right wing government.

It’s akin to hearing of the KKK exposing Fox News for underhand tactics and racism, e.g. fucking ridiculous lol

I should know this, but how do you stand as an independent MEP? "

Of course I'm not condoning Sweeney. The whole situation is ridiculous.

Robinson is not a reliable source. He's has one single agenda, race-hate. So nothing he has to say should have any meaning.

The greens don't promote race-hate, so this situation would never apply.

its classic defence/deflection in that they find someone to "muddy the waters" so to speak to then try to create a defence for someone else....

is what sweeney did good.... no

does it take away from what he was trying to achieve.... nope

sometime people need to remember "who" it is they are really trying to defend by muddying the waters... maybe THAT is the thing that tells you much more about people.....

Hope not hate do actually hate anything 1inch to the right of them. Antifa(cist) are raving fascist and Momentum? .... they are pretty similar... Just because they adopt a virtue signalling name doesn't mean they aren't kuntz.

Whenever a so-called rightwing group kicks off it's called 'extremism'.... when the left kicks off it's called political activism.

Personally i have no time for either side and identity politics is pure shyte....don't get sucked in by media portrayals and have to choose a side...

tommy robinson and owen jones need to be blasted into space in my opinion...

There you go, trying to equate anti-hate groups with hate groups. It’s simply not true. Tommy Robinson is not in any way equal to Owen Jones. They’re not equally extreme.

Forget left and right and just look at what people are saying.

Sorry you are right...antifa are perfectly calm, law abiding citizens who engage in dialogue and would never smash up public places, after democratic elections, beat up supporters of public figures who oppose them, de-platform opposing voices, riot at locations where legal gatherings of people with whom they disagree.... if their actions aint fascist then i need a new dictionary.

What you are saying is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever read.

Definition of fascism

1 often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

2 : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

early instances of army fascism and brutality

So you believe that anti Fascists are infact Fascists? Got to say that doesn’t make a lot of sense.

It seems you think they’re Fascists for quite rightly fighting Fascists.

So you would also say that the Jewish fighters and others who knocked lumps out of Mosley’s blackshirts in the battle of Cable Street in the 30s were infact also Fascists on that basis then?

The legal situation is that he was charged with contempt and sent to prison. However another judge looked at the case and decided that certain legal technicalities had not been followed correctly and said he had to be released and the whole matter looked at again. That is what is happening now. When the matter now comes to court again he will be found either guilty or not guilty of the original offence. If he's found guilty again he will go back to prison and finish off the rest of his sentence. If he's found not guilty then he will be free to walk away and, no doubt, be due a pretty large amount of compensation.

It doesn't matter how often you prove what they say is lies or bullshit they still keep on saying it. They're not interested in the truth, only in getting their own way. How they get that does matter to them.

The appeal was on a point of law, not the evidence. A technicality - the original judge had erred in law.

The judge who heard the appeal referred the case to the Attorney General for a decision on whether to abandon the case or start afresh.

The AG has decided it is in the public interest to start afresh.

One thing legal eagles do not like is their ruling being ignored, which is the allegation in this case.

They didn't mention that Tom Dupree was a co-founder of a white nationist group that had Nazi members. They think the white Europeans will be wiped out by Muslims. Ffs.

And the fact that they proved that you can fake sending text messages, a few minutes before this they used text messages as evidence. Hmmm??

This world often makes me sad

It's appropriate that he is subject to the UK legal system and any of his behaviour results in fitting punishment accordingly. He's hardly a shining example of a model citizen. He loves the ego massage and being bankrolled by dubious sources from around the world.

The likes of Yaxley-Lennon make a lot of fuss about people from backgrounds they don't like not respecting our laws. Ironic in the extreme that they have a big problem adhering to them themselves.

"

Don't listen to what Tommy Robinson says in the video then, listen to what John Sweeney of the BBC says on hidden camera!"

I've read a lot about the video, started to watch it and gave up after a few minutes of listening to waxy lemon, it was enough... As for John Sweeney, from all accounts they've got the jump on him as an investigative journalist... It's how they work and get people to open up and talk isn't it? You don't get a racist to be openly racist by coming across as being an anti racist do you? You would, if you were an investigative journalist try and be empathetic to their "cause" to make them feel confident to speak openly with you. You give them the idea that that part of the conversation, as you're holding the same repulsive views as them, would be edited out, when in truth it would only be the parts where encouragement to voice those views would be edited out. The press and investigative journalists in particular have been doing this forever and a day, fooling people into opening up... Roger Cooke didn't uncover fraudsters and drug dealers etc by pretending to be the police or from the press did he?

As to the BBC being corrupt to the core, this is one weekly program, is it impartial, probably not, name me one news organisation that is, as a reader of the Express Online, I'm guessing that you don't really care if you're preferred news source is biased as long as it's biased in the same way as you are.

You better hope we leave the EU before the European MEP elections in May then. Because if we don't I honestly think Tommy Robinson will be elected as a British MEP and that will give him the biggest platform he's ever had. "

I’m no fan of Robinson, but on this I’m inclined to agree with you. If Nick Griffin can get elected to the European Parliament then so can Tommy Robinson. If, as I predict, our politicians sell us out on BREXIT, i would even consider voting for him myself.

Well if an active IRA man (Bobby Sands) can get elected to the British parliament as MP for a constituency then.....not impossible for Timmy Rottensin to get a euro ticket. Which he has every right to do. I wouldn't vote for him but i would pay good money to see so many people lose their shit whenever he takes his seat among the members. Could also spark a surge in support for similar figures in other eu countries.....VOTE YAXLEY!!

The main problem for him would be getting the votes in one constituency. The race hate enthusiasts are spread out across the country. I’m not sure there would be enough of them in a single place to get him elected.
