"I think it’s a vast over-reaction. Imagine how bored she must have been though lol" Vast overreaction! Bored! WTF! How can there be any faith in any ruling or sentence handed down by a judge who is known to fall asleep while trying cases? Whoever this judge is they have to go, regardless of reason or excuse for falling asleep.

"It's an error with potentially serious consequences, which she will recognise and be keen to correct and overcome. It's important that her health is checked, so that any major potential issues can be identified. People must be allowed to be human, which includes making mistakes."

"Sacking her after her 1st "offence".... and I thought you were politically aligned towards Labour " It's not a question of my politics, it is not about sacking a judge, its about trust in the administration of justice. Once any judge falls asleep on the job they must be immediately removed from the bench because regardless of apologises or reasons their JUDGMENT is open to question. Remember a judge can always temporarily halt a trial without reason for a period (even if it is to take a nap). This judge didn't, and fell asleep in court!
