Tony Blair was interviewed by Sophie Ridge on Sunday on Sky news. In the interview Sophie Ridge asked Blair about Tusk's comments at the infamous "Hell" press conference with Leo Varadker in the week. Sophie asked Blair what he thought about Tusk saying there is no effective opposition for Remain in the UK. Blair responded by saying considering 16 million people voted remain I think it's nonsense. Seems like Tusk not only upset Brexiteers in the UK with his "Hell" jibe, he also upset Remainers like Blair saying there's no effective opposition.

So Blair says nonsense and that covers the whole of the remain side, Jesus that's weak even by your standards

I'd hazard a guess you'd find the vast majority of remain would bloody agree with Tusks comment.

That time has come and gone.

I can think of only two pro-EU people who emerged with their credentials enhanced for how they conducted themselves.

One is Gina Miller and the other is Nicola Sturgeon.

You can't promise the undeliverable in the remain argument like they have on the Leave side so remain doesn't have that land of milk and honey unicorns zombie pull that leave did.

Desperately clutching at straws here mate. Just because Blair disagrees with Tusk and/or doesn’t like him, in no way magically transforms Brexit into some kind of positive.

At the end of the day, very few will emerge with any credibility.

The Government have failed to properly plan for no deal. If they had, their renegotiating position would have been stronger.

Those supporting Remain failed to recognise the strength of anti EU feeling and were complacent pre vote. Post vote there seems to be as many factions in their camp as the Brexit side.

Labour have produced a set of tests which are impossible to match to meaningful Brexit.

The SNP talk Remain and Independence but refuse to actually look for another referendum. Besides, their arguments about remaining in the EU are ignored when they talk about leaving the UK.

The LibDems.....well, arguably, they do not count as they have little influence.

UKIP...dead in the water.

The EU obviously want to protect the integrity of their organisation but fail to recognise that the economic failure of a large trading partner will also have a catastrophic effect on their economy. A downturn of 2% in the UK GDP will not only put the UK into recession, but the EU will also be effected adversely.

Parliament is discredited as many MPs vote against the wishes of their constituents....both for and against.

The only good news is that the keyboard warriors on here can have a field day within their own personal fantasy worlds.

Something will be sorted. I would guess that it will be in place by late May.

If that is the one quote you took from the 20 minute interview I think you need to go back and watch it again.... especially the bit where he talks about how no deal brexiteers are playing very hard and loose with the good Friday agreement
