Seen in far off places

Personally, I doubt it.

I think we'll see Jacob Rees-Mogg as PM before we do Farage.

Who knows?...

After all, 'leave' got the majority vote ...and who could have possibly foreseen THAT happening?!

Neither of these things will happen.

Brexit to be cancelled

God knows who to be PM... Hopefully an Alan Turing type who wins on a campaign of sheer logic after 3 years of the UK having an emotional breakdown.

One more term for Trump before he gets whacked

Superflash to marry the recently divorced Megan Markle. The couple plan to experiment with a more lifestyle orientated marriage and are seeking applications from nubile young unicorns.

It could be worse and an even more extreme right wing party emerges out of not leaving.There will be a backlash and all these self serving mp,s will only have themselves to blame.

I absolutely think this is a complete mess and not in the best interests of the country, a shambles of complete ineptitude and incompetence post the vote but for the myriad of reasons the vote went how it did and it should be respected lest our democracy is in a parlous state..

There wouldn't be too much backlash from dumping the whole stupidity that is Brexit. There might be a bit of voter apathy and a low turnout at the following general election but by the following one it will be ancient history and we can crack on as a strong European member.

The reality is that it's Germany, Italy and France who are tipping into recession now and as for riots, that's what has been happening in Paris, France every weekend for the last 2 months with protests against Macron.

But how?

Any deal with the EU is going to have either a customs union or an Irish backstop. That makes it unaccountable to Leavers because it leaves us half in, and unaccountable to most remainers because it leaves us under EU rules with no control.

There has always only ever been a choice of Hard BREXIT (which isn't quite 'no deal' BREXIT) or no BREXIT.

The sooner everyone accepts this the sooner we can make the decision.

Stranger things have happened.There will probsbly be a Federal United Ireland in time consisting of 4 provincial assemblies and a National Parliament, but not until the British people in Ulster have safeguards to ensure they're culture and traditions are given the respect they deserve within a new Irish constitution.

In the short and medium term the United Kingdom need to have another referendum. This Brexit is nothing like what the British people were lead to believe would be the outcome of leaving.

The Euopean Union is scarily hurtling towards a United States of Europe.....which none of us envisaged when we all signed up to the EEC Trading Block....and maybe we would all be happier with a return that less federal Europe.

Nige will either take back control of UKIP, and get rid of fruit loops like Robinson, or he will start another anti EU party and fight the BREXIT betrayal.

One thing is for sure, he will be back, and he has already got my vote as well as millions of others...

Who is going to back him? Banks isn't he's got enough shit to deal with, and the grassroots leavers ain't got any money!

A compulsory legally binding referendum then..

But, does that not put us back to the point we were in 2016 with the possible outcome being stalemate again with one outcome..

Or political parties splitting, a far right party gaining ground and or more apathy from voters..

It's a mess..

I'll just keep posting this until people stop repeating nonsense.

Treaty of Rome 1957. What we signed up to. Pay particular attention to Articles 2 and 3c:

ARTICLE 1

By this Treaty, the HIGH CONTRACTING PARTIES establish among themselves a

EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY.

ARTICLE 2

The Community shall have as its task, by establishing a common market and

progressively approximating the economic policies of Member States, to promote

throughout the Community a harmonious development of economic activities, a

continuous and balanced expansion, an increase in stability, an accelerated raising of the

standard of living and closer relations between the States belonging to it.

ARTICLE 3

For the purposes set out in Article 2, the activities of the Community shall include, as

provided in this Treaty and in accordance with the timetable set out therein

(a) the elimination, as between Member States, of customs duties and of quantitative

restrictions on the import and export of goods, and of all other measures having

equivalent effect;

(b) the establishment of a common customs tariff and of a common commercial

policy towards third countries;

(c) the abolition, as between Member States, of obstacles to freedom of movement for

persons, services and capital;

(d) the adoption of a common policy in the sphere of agriculture;

(e) the adoption of a common policy in the sphere of transport;

(f) the institution of a system ensuring that competition in the common market is not

distorted;

(g) the application of procedures by which the economic policies of Member States

can he co-ordinated and disequilibria in their balances of payments remedied;

(h) the approximation of the laws of Member States to the extent required for the

proper functioning of the common market;

(i) the creation of a European Social Fund in order to improve employment

opportunities for workers and to contribute to the raising of their standard of

living;

(j) the establishment of a European Investment Bank to facilitate the economic

expansion of the Community by opening up fresh resources;

(k) the association of the overseas countries and territories in order to increase trade

and to promote jointly economic and social development.

There will be a far right party formed in the UK.

It will be nominally anti-European but will morph into a racist one once the mask drops as it inevitably will. This may or may not kill it as this strain of hate is becoming more polished with its messaging and presentation.

I don't think that there will be the backlash that true Brexiteers believe because most people don't really care about the issue as much as they think that they do.
