"i wonder how remain voters would react if they had won the vote and leave had screamed and shouted like they have and the goverment decided fuck it we are leaving anyway even though leave lost ?? "

Did I miss something? Has Article 50 been withdrawn?

I would accept the government's decision as being what they thought was best for the Country.

Many years ago I voted not to join the EU like many of us,what did we do?We exepted it as it was a democratic vote.

Allways believed that one day we would change our minds and by majority we did,but remainers have acted like bullies, been totally umderhand and prepared to do anything to stop democracy the bullies liers and cheats are the remainers, exemplified by the speaker of the house. We have been insulted and bullied for two years ,what a load of low life scum many remainers have proved themselves to be.

As a result a very small number of leavers have turned nasty towards you but the number is far less than the other way round.

If you’ve been insulted and bullied by anyone that is not acceptable.

However I’m not convinced it is as one sided as you make out. I think brexit has created a race to the bottom in terms of acceptable le behaviour, with each side pointing to the other as justification.

If someone is outside on one side, they will likely experience only the bad behaviour of the other.

But we, as a group, are accountable for what is acceptable behaviour.

Just look at this forum. Terms like “nazi”, “fascist”, “racist”, “libtard” and “scum” are thrown about liberally.

There also seems to be an increasing acceptance of violence. It’s stared to be a badge of honour. People feel comfortable with saying they’d spit on others.

We are the change we want to see in others.

(And before I get called out for being inconsistent, I only jump in when it’s two people detailing a thread. I let others report if they feel insulted.)

It would be nice if fab could return to adult debate. I’m slightly cynical as not only has ten tone lowered at the bottom, those who look to partake in the more fact based arguments seem to have dialled back. This will end up a forum of cheap point scoring and personal attacks at this rate....

Don't you think that has already long ago happened, Darling....?!!

Fascinates me endlessly.

Reminds me of the episode of 'Fawlty Towers', where the psychiatrists are guests and one says to the other.....

"There's enough material here for a convention.....!"

Good morning. X

Whatever you think of Owen Jones' politics, he does not deserve homophobic abuse from a gang of right-wing yellow-vest activists in the centre of London. That's just vile.

It's on both sides though isn't it, once again you seem to be ignoring the abuse that was directed at Jacob Rees Mogg in front of his kids by the far left for crying out loud. Take your bias spectacles off.

Had the same sort of language been used against Rees mogg(in that there was a public order offence committed then the police would have stepped in)..

Equating homophobic abuse with being told your dad is not a nice man is a cop out..

And again I agree with the majority on here that they were wrong to have a go in front of his kids..
