So hes going to call for a general election at last and if he doesnt get one(which is highly unlikely) hes going to support a second referendum.Wonder how labour leave supporters about that?

From what I could make out, they are going to stand by their 2017 mandate. That mandate did not offer a referendum or a 2nd referendum (the mandate stood on a policy of nationalisation). He did say he would go back to the EU to negotiate which may mean extending the deadline but he didn't say if he'd rescind A50 if he didn't get a good deal, thereby remaining and getting round a 2nd referendum.

well what he eventually said was it was up to the labour membership to set their agenda so really he said nothing, what i found worrying was on the daily politics show a momentum speaker was saying they want remain off the table and as they run it,its going to be even more shambolic as they will have a leader who wants to leave and party politics that dont.

Exactly what confuses me. MP's want a deal as opposed to WTO. Mp's, on the whole want to remain. Unions want a second referendum (remain) as voted for in party conference yet the membership want out. Labour cannot reconcile honouring the democratic vote and maintaining party support.

Lots of ifs and then some more. It's better to form opinion on what actually happens, as there will be 1001subjective opinions - likely all biased - on what someone or other is about to say or do. So many Mystic Megs in the media etc.

He's stated his position that there should be a general election many times but it would be silly to push for this before the vote on the May deal.
