I really do wonder what her shelf life is?

Am I alone in feeling nauseous and cynical every time I see and hear her pre-programmed platitudes about any and every subject she talks about.

Every time she is on the news these days I just feel irritated and feel that she is just lying. I can’t take a thing she says with any seriousness.

And then we have the alternative - the leader of the no opposition, opposition.

Moan about?, you have absolutely no idea of how we voted or how we view Brexit.

Falling back on attacking the political opposition as many have done recently hardly brings confidence to the argument for leaving.

I'm looking for political leadership in the government that is charged with taking the country out of the EU and frankly all I'm seeing is a government that keeps using the excuse of the political opposition as an excuse for the mess we are in.

I watched Andrew Marr with Theresa May yesterday, and even now, slap bang in the middle of what is possibly the most important decision this country has ever had to make in the last 50 years she still managed to make a comment on the 'Mess Labour left us in'......enough already!

All this time on and we've never needed government leadership any more than we have right now, and here they go again....deflection politics.

It's incredibly painful to see or hear her now, as she contributes nothing each time. She's wasted enormous amounts of time, just with this vote postponed from December, we're talking a month wasted that the country could have better used instead to prepare.

She has no remaining time left as an effective PM but her enemies couldn't get rid of her. As atrocious as she is, the conservatives who could/might take the job are probably even worse - things are that bad.

We need a general election with the parties setting out their plans for resolving this costly mess.

When Cameron stood down due to his reforms not being good enough, everybody's foot hit their faces. After two years of negotiation May stands the same test and the same 'what the fuck' moment will happen again if she does stand down.

The left are simply not ready to govern and instead are putting out more script than Trump's tweets to discredit politics, rather than resolving key issues with the deal. What does "Botched Brexit" and "Frankenstein's monster deal" mean when there is absolutely no clarity in what they're offering if she does.

They will likely revel in the fact they'll never get in before the 29th.

Mrs May was in Liverpool yesterday launching the NHS 10 year plan. She had her keynote speech scheduled for midday. Jeremy Corbyn knew this but nevertheless went down the route he did.

Mrs May was quite happy to do "the meaningful vote" TV debate but consensus on the format could not be reached.

And the Prime Minister doesn't "allow" a vote of no confidence in Parliament. If the Opposition want one, then they can call one. It's in their power to do so.

(A) May could have been in Parliament , no need what-so-ever to travel to Liverpool to make a 30 minute speech ( B) May had the opportunity to have a head-to-head debate with Corbyn prior to the (postponed) meaningful vote but she would not do this (C) labour called a vote of no confidence in the PM , the government would not allow time for this debate/ vote despite the fact that over 100 of their own MPs had voted that they had no confidence in their leader the previous week ,,,,

Whatever qualities she has, leadership is not one of them.

That was so obvious during the 2017 General Election when she allowed her campaign to be framed in a psuedo-presidential style, yet went out of her way to avoid any unscripted contact with the public and press.

The continual resort to platitudes soon became a liability, demonstrating her ability only to parrot the sound-byte written by her spin doctor.

She may well be transactional in style. But she is not visionary and does not inspire.

And her presentation of the outcome of the EU negotiations is lamentable.

She had an opportunity to seize the moment as delivering on the key messages of the referendum. Instead, she has allowed herself to be pushed onto the back foot by falling into the trap of framing the deal in less-than-positive terms, e.g this is the best we could get.

She is out her depth. That said, it’s not a lot of pay for the responsibility, not when you look at the fat cats in the City.

I have to say, I really am quite impressed that she can still get out of bed in the morning an deal with this shit. I mean, we all know she personally doesn't think this is the right move. And when you have to wake up every morning to deal with yet another element of a completely avoidable, and unnecessary shambles. And you know you are only ever going to go down in history as the PM that fucked it all up?

I will freely admit, two years down the line, I think I'd just be hiding under the duvet by now telling the world to fuck off, and just put Larry in charge.

Over the last two days Mrs May has entertained Tory MPs (and their partners) at Downing Street , apparently in order to discuss their brexit plans ,, I hope and would fully expect these drinks parties are funded by The Conservative Party and not by us British tax payers
