Jeremy's turn next to be smoked out. Sadly this cannot happen before crimbo I fear as clock is ticking. Bring the deal back before parliament and of course have it rejected. OK Jeremy what's your alternative then. Quel surprise "It's call general election". Well good luck with that one as I won the last won so get to choose Ha ha ha. We will cling on to power till 2022 if you vote me down again on second attempt and article 50 could be suspended indefinitely. oooooooh I know "lets have another referendum". "Oh look.......... You're a closet leaver aren't you. You want to leave don't you." Well let's face it you've voted against every EU treaty and proposal there's ever been. Now who is leading a split party. He he "Enjoy, the next few months like I've had to enjoy the last 2.5 years."

The question we should ask is JC is 69 now, if he became P.M. he would be 75 towards the end of his term - too old for the job. MP'S should be made to retire at state pension age.

By the time Jezza reaches 75 the retirement age will probably be around 107

Taking the thread off down another path. But agreed he is looking a little bit tired of late. No wonder his brain must be trying to work his way through the labrynthitis that Brexit has caused.

Labour has Shroedinger's Brexit.

It is both leave and remain until they have to open the box.

Guess what? The box is staying shut as long as possible

I cannot remember such a poor opposition to any government in my life! Corbyn too old, too indecisive and Labour's version of Boris (what's in it for me)?

Other than extreme left, Labour supporters cannot be happy with his leadership. I am a centrist so could vote several ways - but not for Corbyn!

Labour are like an opposition team watching the other side kicking each other off the park, scoring own goals and the team captain being ignored as they try to get the team to play together and score in the other goal..

Till the opposition cross the half way line Labour will sit back and go ooh that's going to hurt as the tackles fly in..

It is frustrating for the spectators but where it the other way round it would be the same..

The solution is to accept the deal on offer as it stands and say we will have another referendum in 2 years time. or word it as within next 2 years.

That is the obvious solution that will break the deadlock.

This doesn’t work in most cases. If we chose an option which did not fit the EU we’d be at an impasse again. The only referendum would be to vote on an alternative deal the EU have agreed to.

Do we care what the EU think about our own referendum ?

We're a country that is disengaging from the EU. Does it matter ?

if 35 Million electorate are polled and the answer comes back, naff off, what can they do about it. Wave their 560 page booklet at us and fine us. By then our economy will be booming anyway and we can pay any fine they chuck our way.

Honestly we are missing a trick here.

Also if they don't improve their measly offer by then which is what is on offer we can tell them to naff off. Peeps it's a brilliant win win scenario.

I've written emails to all the protagonists with my idea. I wonder if any of them bother to read their emails ?

You honestly don’t think there would be no fall out at all if we broke an international agreement ?

I suspect we md have little FTA in place by then. We’d get none signed after.

Does it matter. No deal Brexit completely fucks the country up anyway. We are as bad burnt as scalded.

The vote as always would be advisory and the EU would see that 65 million of it's citizens are not happy people or maybe they'd see that we're back to being content and we can all live happily ever after. What can they do. They would have to accept the will of the people.

But assuming we can’t get the EU to agree then we’re on WTO anyway. And just realised we can’t be in any Fta while on the deal. So all kinds of fucked this way.

Well don't we have to get out schedule approved for trading under WTO? I understand 19 countries have objected to what we have proposed? The fact that trade deals take sometime to negotiate and be ratified, there will be a period where we will be only trading under WTO (assuming we sorted the 19 out), we would then join the Islamic State of Mauritania - the only other country just trading under WTO rules!

I have absolutely no idea what all this WTO and FTA nonsense is all about apart from it sounds very complicated and difficult to get new deals sorted which means with a no deal we are going to be a lot poorer very soon indeed with business unable to sell their good abroad.

This provides an internal solution to the problem and puts things back on our foot during negotiations. Somebody needs to do a bit of blue sky thinking here.

Don’t we need to understand things like wto and Fta to make informed decisions in any referendum?

And these are the basics of trading globally. And part of what we’re voting to leave

Well apparently not. But don't start going down that route because as soon as you start saying that only people with superior intellect and knowledge can make valued results you get accused of being elitist and undemocratic. I get a feeling I am being tried to be tied up in knots here by superior intellect. Some of my family members are a bit like that and they annoy the fuck out of me for being so superior.
