basically what has happened was that new economic figures came out friday...

trump claims all credit for figures...

obama then (rightly) says that recovery started under him... and has continued

trump, spooked, then tweets out over weekend all sorts of economic claims....

people then fact-check... most claims wrong

trump then continues to tweet more economic claims on monday.... then biggest one being that growth rate (4.2%) is larger that unemployment rate (3.9%) for first time in 100 years (4 exclaimation marks).....

people fact-check... find out this has only happened 60 times in last 100 years.....

trump ecomonic spokesman forced to admit in WH press briefing that in fact his boss did lie....

trump starts speaking at event... still making said claim.....

fox news, for first time ever, fact check him whilst his is speaking and actually put on ticker claim is not true whilst he is still speaking...

basically you know its bad when fox news becomes part of the resistance!!!!

thing is... the economy is doing well and there is no need for trump to lie... thus making his lie the story and not the bloody figures!!!!
