"My view is that we should abolish borders because anywhere you draw a line, it causes misery " This, like comunismn, is great in principle. Unfortunately for it to work we would also need irradicate poverty, abolish money and create complete equality for everyone at all levels. We're a long way from that. As things are at the moment, people will migrate from the poorest regions to the wealthiest... thus starving the nations of their resources. So the rich country gets poorer supporting a larger population and the poor country gets poorer as they've lost their brightest and strongest. Cal

"My view is that we should abolish borders because anywhere you draw a line, it causes misery No, it prevents the misery spreading everywhere. Hobbes vrs Rousseau. Kant trumps both. For the dreamers, he does. For those with a good grasp of history, we'll stick with Hobbes. And yet. So fundamentally, why do you think there are so many shithole countries full of people that would love to come here, if there were no borders? Not quite sure what you’re asking there, you’re asking about a current in the context of a non-current situation? Apologies, I don’t follow the actual question. We have borders in this country because they are a lot of people from failed states that would understandably like to come here, if there were no borders - which is what you'd like. "British are definately not British, we have been invaded or raided by the Romans, Saxons, Scandinavians, Vikings and Normans from as far back as the first century. " Go further back to a time when this land was not an island, when it was possible to walk across the North Sea through Doggerland, circa 8000BC, and you realise the history of the species is one of migration, from the early civilisations of the middle east, spreading out to colonise this cold and wet landscape.

"What makes a person British or any other nationality? My best friend as born in Jamaica and came to England in 1964, aged 6. His application for British citizenship was rejected a few years ago. In his younger days he was a professional boxer and the country was happy for him to represent us at his sport but they wouldn't grant him citizenship when he applied later on. He is now trying again under the windrush scheme. If you've lived in a country for over 50 years and represented them in a sporting capacity does that make you a citizen or should you always be considered an immigrant?" Look at the Ghurka's they were good enough to fight for Britian as part of our army, but they were not good enough to be a citizen.

"Our border is the surrounding oceans that separate us from all other countries. We should defend this border at all costs. Nobody should be allowed to just come here and do what they want. There should be stronger security at all our ports and airports. Those who are allowed in should be made to swear allegiance to the UK, on whatever their holy book is. Those who don’t like it should find some other nation to leach from." What should we do with people that were born here but refuse to sing the national anthem?

Two of those aren't nationalities. I bet your Jamacian claims are small so really you have blood that is 90% the same as our beloved Queen. Jokes really are lost on you, aren't they? I'm really not surprised you have Israeli blood. I like you 15% more now. I don't know why i didn't see it before. I don't have any Israeli blood. I have British and Italian. You said your mother was Israeli. Take the compliment. " No, I said she was born in what is now Israel (it was Palestine when she was born). No Israeli blood in her (or me) at all.

Those who don’t like it should find some other nation to leach from. What about those that don’t want to ‘leach’ but come to contribute? Or that just, you know, want to live their life without your xenophobic crap? -Matt" I'm sure they wake up in whatever country they happen to be living in and think "What the fuck am i doing here with all my employable skills!? I need to get to Britain to help out their economy!"

Agree but that's because our leaders pussy foot around the debate because they don't want to offend a voter. It's a debate and a proclamation we sorely need to have in my opinion. Kings have been deposed over such issues. So who would you like to see as the leader of our great Nation? It's not about who. It's about defining what Britain is and then having choices that at least fit in that spectrum. Yeah but something like British Values is impossible to define in a large diverse country. You can see many countries where it fails/failed. Fundamentally it can only work without a spectrum of shared values. I've given 4, none of which you disagree with. The people that do disagree with one or more can only drag our country down since a compromise with them, would, by definition, compromise our values.

"To me, the following are non-negotiable British values and anyone who doesn't like them should be deported whether they were born here or not: - belief in secular, politically independent law - belief in free speech and free press - belief in the existing democratic process as the way or resolving political debates - belief in the right of individuals to own private property " The trouble with making things like this non negotiable is that they exclude people who may be perfectly legitimately questioning them and, as far as I'm concerned, questioning things is probably one of the most sacred of all things about our cultural heritage. I love the fact that Marx wrote the communist manifesto in the UK. I'm proud of us for being the global seat of innovative thinking. It doesn't bother me that some of this thinking has been terrible. This is because I think another important part of western culture is having the faith that the best ideas will prevail in the end... and to have the courage to sit back and let that happen. That's why no platforming is just as much a problem for our cultural legacy as platforming hate speach imo

Go research the peasants revolt of 1381 if you think he was saying any new ideas. Furthermore, there is not a single country that has come remotely close to our living standards, after embracing those ideas. Western culture does not believe the best ideas will prevail, in fact other countries in the West write constitutions to ensure radical ideas can't overtake sensible ones.

He didn't say "im inspired by marx", he said "I am a marxist". It's hard to imagine a marxist getting appointed to shadow chancellor by someone who doesn't share his views and does not deny being a Marxist. Especially when he used to date a woman who said that "mao did more good than harm" and made her shadow home secretary. So there's your extreme politics right there.

Whilst the majority of hard working families have, over generations, struggled to make ends meet legitimately, it is abundantly clear that a great many of the nations richest families got rich precisely through scamming or stealing or extorting their wealth off others. This isn't ancient history in the slightest. Throughout the 20th century it has continued unabated, with many people getting unfathomably wealthy off plundering natural resources and stealing human labour from vulnerable people elsewhere on the planet. Heck that's why half the nation states were set up on the planet; so we could institute and empower a select group of corrupt locals who were happy to feign to be able to talk for their "nation" in negotiating twisted trade deals with us. The rich have no respect for private property. That's merely a drawbridge they want to pull up behind them to protect them from being swindled in the same way they did others (warning! this party political broadcast does not pertain to all rich people)

So i repeat, it has to be all the values in combination. You are denying the right to free speech because you don't agree with it. If you agree in free speech, then you have to allow the far right and extreme left a voice. Otherwise it's not free speech." This is a new spin on the term political correctness from broken. The correct politics will be decided by who .? We can omit the left and the right because of their bias .The public wouldn't know where to start.-So what's left the judiciary ?

"To me, the following are non-negotiable British values and anyone who doesn't like them should be deported whether they were born here or not: - belief in secular, politically independent law - belief in free speech and free press - belief in the existing democratic process as the way or resolving political debates - belief in the right of individuals to own private property The trouble with making things like this non negotiable is that they exclude people who may be perfectly legitimately questioning them and, as far as I'm concerned, questioning things is probably one of the most sacred of all things about our cultural heritage. That's why no platforming is just as much a problem for our cultural legacy as platforming hate speach imo Marx wasn't innovative, he was a parasite dragging up old ideas. " Yet democracy + social media = radical change if recent history is not to be ignored.

"There will always be a few Marxist in the Labour Party. Its doesn't seem to affect people voting for them.Same for the Tories they have extreme right wingers, people don't assume they are going to get the extreme right when they vote Tory and if your guilty for your girlfriends political views I'd get the electric chair ... But I want to deport those extreme right wingers just as much as the extreme left. Have you ever read Hitler's views on private property and capitalism? If we can't deport them, can we at least get a constitution so their views become illegal to implement. So a belief in freedom of speech as you stated above only goes out to those you agree with .The extreme right and left are to be silenced ? Can't just pick and choose to have one and not the other I'm afraid, otherwise it's just tribes hijacking democracy to take turns in abusing each other. You do know that one of the core principles you stated for being British was freedom of speech. That means that people who you don't like or agree with can have a say. Everyone can take the government to task - that's why even if you didn't vote for your local MP (you voted for a different candidate) they will still see you and listen to your views. No offence but you either can't or won't understand my points. Either way, it's tedious. " I think I have a better grasp on what free speech is than you. If you deny free speech from the extremes, you are basically saying that communism is right in banning free speech.

" Pause British history at any point over the last few thousand years and you'd find a landed status quo arguing that radical extremist elements should be routed out and silenced. Thankfully they didn't win then and we're here now. I'm not entirely convinced today's radicals offer us all the better tomorrow of yesterday's. But the principle still stands. Let them talk and may the best ideas win
