Why do some threads just disappear

There was a thread titled Britain a nation of shop keepers, poof it's gone just like that.

Yep. It's gone.

Someone must have reported it for some reason. Not sure why. They usually only pull individual posts if they break policy

Many of the viewpoints will probably be recycled in a few threads anyway - minus anything inappropriate (I didn't see the content).

Sometimes it's good to clear away any ill-feeling, as it underlines it being behind us and gone.
