Chorley,

Just seen a interview on the news, and she was asked about if there was a no deal. What would she think about people loosing there jobs. She would not answer him.

Well that says a lot. Just thinking about her own job and very smarmy with it.

Bristol East

I saw an interview asking her what she did to help free Nelson Mandela, or did she think like Thatcher that he was a terrorist.

Same stock (non) answer, drafted for her by a spin doctor, repeat question, repeat answer, repeat question, repeat answer.

Vacuous.

Endless platitudes.

Feckin' hopeless.

What would you expect her to say?I think she cares a hell of a lot as she is trying to give the majority what they voted for virtually single handed.

As time goes on I am beginning to admire Mrs May a lot and she has my sympathy that she is getting no support even from brexiters. She is dammned whatever she does.

As clear as she was about the last general election not happening?

Exactly, that's why she won't make the same mistake twice.

Like she was crystal clear that she wouldn't call an election, until she did?

Is there an echo in here?

Someone else already made that point.

As I said said to them, she will have learnt from that and won't be making the same mistake twice.

I doubt that. We will just have to wait and see what happens. It's interesting how her government is propped up by the DUP and yet Brexit loons like JRM are calling for checks between NI and Eire. I wonder how long their support will hold?

"We’re very clear that what we want is a free trade agreement between the UK and the European Union, and of course that would mean the free movement of people, and it would also mean facilities for the movement of goods across the border without the need for new infrastructure to be put in place." DUP MP Sir Jeffrey Donaldson

So we are keeping free movement of people then?! Great

What's happening with the foreign aid budget ? Is there changes coming with how it's spent ?

Look at the date 1st April! !

My point entirely! The reason for African migrants coming to Europe is because life is shit in most parts of Africa!

I can't tell if it's aid in exchange for the opportunity to blatantly exploit African resources or aid to alleviate poverty and create jobs to reduce emigration North to Europe .

I'm guessing the position and influence in Africa they want is the same as China and France .I have a feeling post brexit we will see some unsavoury practices in the quest for profit in Africa .

From what I have read , the foreign aid budget is no longer going to African states for them to spend , it will now be going to private business to support development of those business and the creation of jobs in Africa ,

In a way it's a good move it stops political figures in Africa skimming the cream before it reaches where it's needed ,

A) it is not an actual FTA as such

B) the trade deal being agree is actually at worse terms than the current EU agreement which is in place.....

So I am sure them darn brexiteers are getting the old bunting out as we speak

So nobody like TM's chequers plan left, right & EU. So this was the great plan which if voted on in parliament would surely fail? Therefore brexit is a failure - she must go! But where are the brexiteer gang? Why hasn't anyone challenged her for the leadership? These cowards talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Come on Boris man up take control - what's stopping you? JRM show some leadership - IDS failed dismally before so no wonder he's keeping his head down.

Perhaps they're waiting for Barnier to do the donkey work and they can then slither in and put the knife in..
