I have, in the oast, tried to encourage people to look at each others case from the other perspective.

You've seen the cognitive bias thread.

Seems too hard for most.

For the record most leave voters are not any of the things that you described. Certainly not under normal circumstances. However, under social and economic stress it has been a historical certainty that people want to believe that there is an easy answer to the problem and it usually involves blaming someone else

I should add, the media, and particularly the Mail would have everyone believe that life is intolerable and terrifying and someone else's fault.

It isn't. 95% of the world's population is far closer to this than the vast majority of us can comprehend.

I dont laugh at them. I meant that they have the take back our country view, it was on the news, there is a study showing those from that background have that view.

I have friends who are brexiters from deprived areas. They emotion and their cause is real. But what they blame and how to solve it may be wrong. Their pains are not an illusion. The daily fail is using it to harness their pain and get them to think in the way the media wants to think. This isn't a left right thing. It's using the struggles and adding a hint of fear to manipulate.

Maybe I'm a victim of it. So many psychologists know how to play and influence people all around us l.

Leave voters if they get a no-deal BREXIT will be interesting to see which political parties can win from that. Gone from promises of super economic success to a 5 year adjustment period.
