I think there are more Remainers in the politics forum than leavers, but people want to see the data.

Please post on here once to say if you are a leave or remained. Undecideds will not be counted.

Remainers.

Remainers here.

As we are migrants in France we didn't relish all the beaurocracy that we would have to go through, which has proved right!

The other reasons was a big unknown - nobody knows how good/bad brexit will be and that was too big a risk for us!

That doesn't mean we think the EU is perfect, and like most institutions it needs reform - but just look at the UK institutions that need reform. There is no such thing as "perfect" and we are in dangerous times.

It's scrabble2 who wants the data, I don't really care.

So should we put you down as a leaver or remainer?

"Not sure how this will prove how many have left !!"

It wont, this is to determine how many are currently on the forum.

I voted remain. I wouldn’t say I’m an outright remainer tho. Just someone not convinced by the arguments to leave.

I think Unleashed Kraken did a poll like this in the lounge forum during the referendum in 2016 (before the politics forum started).

More people posted for Leave then as the lounge attracts a wider group of people.

The politics forum by comparison only has a handful of regular posters.

I'm for Leave.

So if Fab is an exact representation of the real world then there will be a very slim majority of leavers.

I know only 1 person who voted leave. I’m from Bristol which is multi cultural and diverse. So we largely voted remain. As I did.

I understand people by our nature like to surround ourselves with other like minded people. Which is probably why some of us are alarmed when we come across people from the other side of the divide on Fab.

I voted Leave, that's not a secret.

I would have preferred to vote "remain but drastically reform".

You wanted the data to substantiate that there were more Remainers than leavers. You said I always made unsubstantiated claims, I asked you to back that up, and you couldn't.

Remainer, all we have done is show the rest of the world how incompetent our government actually is and divided the nation, and made us a very small island with lots of enemys.

Hate to piss on your parade, but I don't want data to substantiate that there were more remainers than leavers.

I'm not bothered if there are more remainers in the politics forum.

I didn't say you 'always made unsubstantiated claims'.

What I actually said was 'its a common occurrence' in regards to you 'make a statement, then when challenged you have no data to substantiate it'.

As for backing up my claim, I just have. 'Couldn't' is now 'can'.

It's all about grammar!

Couldn't being present - can't being past but in the grand scheme of things they are the same but in different tenses - simples!

Alternative Facts

But yes I stand corrected!
