Yes, *that* money. Do you really think the government is gonna continue with all these programs/investments/subsidies? What with?! Because, apparently, it's all going to the NHS (in x years time).

The UK was a net contributor to the EU so they should be able to support it, but things are never that straight forward

Just a guess, but the retention of UK’s nett contribution will be more than offset by two things:

a) continued payment towards some EU programmes at premium, non-EU rates

b) tarriffs on EU imports and loss of migrant labour denting the turnover and profitability of UK business, leading to a reduction in revenue to the Treasury.

Every penny of any form of EU payment retention will be lost & more if a FTA with the EU is not delivered.

In return we made far more profit from doing so, so not paying anymore means no more "extra income" so it's a big fat net loss, so no, funding will not stay the same, funding will be reduced or scrapped in many sectors all together.

the brexit nhs dividend plus other promises risks double counting the contribution ... and I’m also cynical it will be reinvested in the uk in the same way as it currently is ...

"Nobody really knows do they ? "

Yes we do! The problem is we know exactly what will happen but the brexit crew and most of the rest of the country refuse to admit that we know...

The funding will be CUT over time because the money will be used to fund cuts to individual and corporate wealth taxes. Just like the funding for the NHS, social services and local government to fund cuts to individual and corporate wealth taxes!

And just to be clear Monkeyspank while you and others refuse to acknowledge that the Tories will continue to do what they have always done and claim that 'no one knows what will happen', the Tories will continue to take your refusal to confront their behaviour as consent, and will not modify their behaviour.
