"And who are "they" exactly?"

I was wondering who 'they' are too? Theresa May won't do It because she knows it would trigger a leadership challenge from Brexiters.

The cabinet is split and Boris has been made the split public. Its very representative of the whole thing.Parliament is split the cabinet is split and the country is split.

I suggest we divide the country up and be done with it.

Boris has had other members of his party stating he should be sacked and they are right.

He is part of a team in government, with responsibilities to support both the government and the country - he maliciously fails to do either, instead doing the opposite.

He clearly shows he's a selfish, dangerous individual. He would be sacked in disgrace from any equivalent job elsewhere.

He shows little regard for his party too. The conservatives are in dangerous times, their leader is in a holding position, keeping the job whilst the others let her.

Boris is behaving like a petulant child, knowing he's not going to face punishment - but this is at enormous cost to the country. His party is responsible for completing the most important changes in 2018 that the UK has faced in decades, the results of which will dictate UK prosperity for years to come. He should be a hard working team member supporting the Prime Minister. Or he should resign and get out of politics if he is incompetent for this.

Dangerous times for the conservative party even though they've just taken a 5 point lead in the polls over Labour since the local elections.

I'd love to know what polls have the Tories running a 5 point lead over Labour after the kicking Labour have just inflicted on the Tories at the local elections.

If local election results were replicated in a general election Labour would be the biggest party with a projected 283 seats while the Tories would have 280. Stop believing everything you hear on the Tory run BBC

You're always good for a laugh

The conservative party is seriously at logger-heads with itself. There have been major divisions within it for years over Europe and the current negotiations, a leader who's only holding the job because of its potential danger for the leader, whilst a caustic bunch of nutjobs plot for themselves in the party. Whatever the public turmoil and most healthy members of the public are quite happy to get along with others who disagree on their points, these narcissistic conservative politicians who want to run the party, are highly toxic.

The toxic bunch of Johnson, Reesemogg, Javid and others aren't in it for the masses and have limited allegiance to their party and country.

Despite all the criticism from other people the Conservatives keep getting elected time after time .The reason is very straight forward. They are simply the best for the country. This have been proven time and time again. I ignore all opinion polls . The only results I have any interest in ate those returned on election day which have consistently proved that the Conservatives are more popular than any other party.

I would certainly love to kick Boris, if nothing else to hear him blame the EU for that too!

On a more serious note, if he's not intentionally sabotaging May's every move, then he must have the memory of a goldfish because only a few weeks ago he was asking everyone to get behind the PM and support her etc but he's the first one to not practice what he preaches and he's calling this "crazy", the other "silly" and so on. Disingenuous in everything he says as proved by everything he does consequently.

IMO, he (and the rest of the Brexideologists) is purposefully sabotaging the PM (and the whole Brexit team) by literally tying their hands and undermining their negotiating position because he makes the division within the government so obvious that the EU (rightly) are reluctant in negotiating anything futurewise, since they're unsure what our position will be from one minute to the next!

If Teresa May showed a tiny bit of backbone and just slapped Boris and his gang and told them to shut up, I'm sure lots of people would admire her for *actually* taking control and get behind her in order to support her.

If she kicked Boris&Co in the nuts, I might even be tempted to vote for her next time just for that reason!

That is one hell of a myopic perspective. Many experts would contradict that, with evidence of how much damage they've done to the country. Not to mention the pain and suffering inflicted on millions of people.
