...when it's a French and vegetarian, seemingly. 'Misleading'.

I agree- if you want to be vegetarian/veggie, own it and don't pretend it's meat made with another product.

Bristol East

I do like a bit of continental sausage.

??

A Hungarian shop in Bristol does a fabulously spicey and stiff salami-style links.

Yum yum

Technically a sausage dog isn't actually a sausage, but a hot dog is.

The concept of square sausage seems to cause confusion.

Central

If you enjoy long cyclindrical objects, enjoy them with whatever delights they're going to deliver - vegetarian or meat based contents. Often it's food production companies that use existing food nomenclature for branding of a new variation, so that they can bump up their sales.

If you want something on a barbecue, some sausages can work very nicely

I mean, I'm a veggie, but it's not because I don't enjoy the taste of meat. If there was lab grown meet or whatever I'd eat it, probably.

When I'm craving a burger, or sausages, it's nice that there are vegetarian options on the market. Because it's the animal bit that's the problem, not how delicious the food is.

I don't understand why so many people find this a hard concept to process.
