"Better get Nicola to get her finger out and hold the referendum . Is that all you ever think about quite sad when so much is going on around the world" I would say no I have no interest in a 2nd vote the op did hint about running to get money from the banks . Perhaps you didn’t get the sense of humour from my post . There is little I can do to stop wwIII I’m sure your the same . I’d plan to spend my last moments with my family before the end .

"BBC We asked foreign policy experts around the world whether we are heading for a third world war. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-43732320/experts-are-we-heading-for-a-third-world-war . what do you think fabbers? are we getting close to war? should we withdraw all cash from banks now . what will you do if war breaks out?" Is a global war likely? I think it is going on already. Will it change from a proxy war into a direct clash between world powers? History tells us it will. How soon will open hostilities break out? I think very shortly. Will Syria be the flash point? It is possible but I doubt it, I have a nasty feeling our strong and stable leader and her chief diplomat are a lot more likely to bluster their way into starting the conflagration that is looming or maybe CinC 'Bonespurs' Trump may just start it on his southern border.

"I think we are in the most dangerous times since the Cuban missile incident. The only problem now is we have Putin & Trump - God help the world!" Yes both egotistical narcissistic personality's. Either one of them would probably be willing to start a nuclear war rather than back down and talk sense. Let's hope they see sense.

"You've said all along that Trump is in Putin's pocket. If that is the case why is he threatening to launch missile strikes into Syria and stirring up trouble with his Russian friends?" Yep, and I still believe it. That is why Trump is telling Putin what he intends to do before doing it... So much for Trumps vaunted use of the element of surprise... As I have said many times my worry is that Trump and Putin have a pact and have already divided out what ever will be left of Europe after they are finished. Unfortunately I think Trump intends to use the 'special relationship' with us to engineer (at Putin's command) a pan European war with Russia, in which Trump will be as good as his word and refuse to make good on the USA's commitments under Article 5 of the NATO charter. I also semi expect Trump to make an all out power grab in the USA, suspending Congress and elections in an attempt to set himself up as President for Life. History is repeating itself yet again I fear, and this whole situation can be attributed to austerity, and thus in the UK to the Eaton posh boy pig fucker and his sidekick Gideon!

"President Trump was watching the TV news yesterday morning - presumably, in between the cartoons - when he saw a piece about the belligerent response of a Russian diplomat to a US attack on Syria. He went to his phone and tweeted a warning to Russia to watch out for his "nice new smart missiles" that would be coming their way soon. Now, this is the commander in chief of the US military, blurting out to the world - and the "enemy" -beforehand what he intends to do. I imagine his military advisers had a word, because today he tweeted: "Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our “Thank you America?” Does anyone really want to get into a war led by this chump? " Is he really trying to take credit for ridding the region of isis? Im pretty sure the west was doing their best to help them against assad. It was russia that rid the majority of isis out of the region.

It would seem every centrist on these forums who constantly find anything and everything to hate trump about (for which there's many) can't wait to fall over themselves wanking when he starts bombing people and better still starting third world wars, the bigger the war the more they jerk off on some sort of moral comeuppance.

I suspect your Right ! We could end up on our own here ! Trump won't care ! Also for all the morality talk ? If Russia said they had done the strike and the Yanks did nothing , we wouldn't either ! If we decide to strike and the Yanks change thier minds would we go it alone ? If not what excuse ?

"So Cameron engineered all this with his austerity measures?" I do not know if the pig fucker deliberately initiated his ideological austerity program with prior intent to move the country further to the political extremes and to popularise nationalism or if he just saw the global financial crash as an opportunity to shrink government and pass wealth from the nation to his rich posh boy chums. All I know is that throughout history the use of austerity and cutting living standards of the general population has lead to xenophobia, the emergence of authoritarian 'strongman' (and now women) nationalist leaders and dictators who all tend to use repression of their own population, isolationism and war as tools of government. This does not happen over night, last time it took 10 years from the Wall St. crash of 29 and the commencement of open hostilities between the great powers of the day. Like it or not, this is where we are on the brink of now. Even the timescale, most of the players and rhetoric and world politics are similar. But what do I know about it, I am sure there are many here who know I am totally wrong and that the pig fucker (along with his faithful lapdog Gideon) is in no way to blame for where our country is today and definitely has had no part in shaping European and world politics over the last 8 years.

So much for giving them early warning and losing the element of surprise. They are thinking will an attack from the US come soon, or later, or maybe not at all??? They really don't know and Trump has completely bamboozled them with these tweets.

"Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has accused the government of "waiting for instructions" from US President Donald Trump and said military action was unlikely to solve the situation in Syria. He said: "More bombing, more killing, more war will not save life. It will just take more lives and spawn the war elsewhere." He then pulled out his whit flag which he intends to take with him today in Parliment " Now who was it said "jaw, jaw, not war, war." One would have thought that by now you would have worked out that having warmongering politicians is not good for either regional stability or the security of the British population. But hey, Trump and the Maybot are having difficulties at home so killing some johnny foreigners in another war will make for a nice distraction (and justify giving their mates billions more out of the public purse).

They used a retired 3 star old school general to run the Iranian side using Iranian technology Guess who won? Not only did he win but he completely annihilated the US of A yeehaw in 48 hours. "I just read an article on the BBC feed - they interviewed an ex Lt Gen Russian Army who states that Russian forces are at the moment inferior to the west. Should conflict break out and Russia is losing, Putin will press the nuclear button rather than suffer defeat! He says that war between the US & Russia is inevitable and it will be nuclear. Scary." That's assuming that the Russian people will let it get that far. Russia relies on exports of natural resources for its economy and the powerful businesses would probably get rid of Putin before it gets that far. Besides Putin himself although already a very rich man would have to think carefully before using the final option. Are we really going to face annihilation because of one man's pride?

Exactly my point, the military experts behind these two egomaniacs hopefully have a back up plan to prevent ego's causing thermonuclear global war. Putin himself is before being a business man and politician was a soldier and a warrior. Let's hope his brain isn't still in attack mode. It's an extremely scary time in our history and one which could prove the outcome of the human species and all life on the planet. I mean how dare they, the arrogance and ego's. Billions of years of evolution,a unique planet in our galaxy all potentially wiped out due to the ego's of two spoilt brats.
