Theresa May’s painting

North West

Seemingly Theresa May has paid out to buy a painting that was sketched and then painted of her handing over the Article 50 Notice last year.

So do we think....

A) She believes that it was such a positive and pivotal moment in history that she has bought the painting for her ancestors to admire in awe at her place in the history of the United Kingdom.....

OR

B) She is probably a bit worried that if someone else bought it, it would become a symbol of National shame in the future. The day that started the break up of the United Kingdom and the start of the slidebof the relevance of this country on the world stage.

You've got it all wrong again!

The painting was gifted to Mrs May. As it was valued at £250, and there is a £140 limit on gifts to MPs, Mrs May made up the £110 difference out of her own pocket in order to stay within the limits.
