Wings over Scotland have made £60,000 in 12 hours

Cant wait for you all saying bad things about this

yet i bet you dont care about rich elite people funding ''Scotland in the Union''

You can smell the shite coming from unionists fear that an independence referendum is coming and unionists are in a panic and desperately want to kick it into the long grass

Nope you see Scotland has a democratic mandate to hold an independence referendum

From Wings

"so we've been building a warchest in order to produce, when the time comes, one million copies of a new version of our famed Wee Blue Book and put them in the hands of Scottish voters.

We're pretty close to that target, and one more shove from you, our generous readers will get us over the line.

You know what we do by now, and you know where the rest of the money will go - the average Scottish full-time wage for me, the alarming web hosting costs of running a secure and reliable site with 300,000 readers, occasional opinion polls, fundraising commission and of course paying our esteemed cartoonist during the two or three weeks of the year"

No doubt the hate will still come

And when i ask where does the money go that funds Scotland in the union ?

You started a thread about Wings and their income and now you're getting defensive because you don't know the answer to a simple question.

Given the conman is raking it in from the gullible, how much has he told you that he spent on the recent elections?

"

Sturgeon stood by the sex pest when the scandal broke in November: "Mark has reflected and taken responsibility for behaviour that some others may well have thought was not serious enough to resign but he's done the right and taken responsibility, he's going to continue his work as an MSP.

"He's a good MSP and he will continue to be so."

Now how much of the money Wings raises is it actually spending on campaigning etc during elections?

Apparently no one knows or cares.

It's rather weird, but not unexpected, you've started a thread boasting about Wings income but as soon as you're asked how much he actually spends on election campaigns you desperately want to change the subject.

I think deep down you're worried the figure I'm telling you (£0.00) is correct. Which can only mean one thing

bearing in mind the entire "yes" campaign in the scottish referendum was basically bankrolled by the couple who won on the euro millions, if someone has the conviction to put their money where there beliefs lie... I have no problem...

be that the Euromillion pair.... or JK Rowling... or the Arsenal Chairman!!!!

as long as people are open and honest and upfront and it is all done above board...

heck... i gave money to the bernie sanders campaign because legally i could... and we shared a loy of the same beliefs...

"Still waiting i wont move on till i get an answer

£57,889.63 on manifesto or referendum material

£15,770.90 on rallies or other events

£21,279.09 on media

£7,688.69 on market research/ canvassing

£11,953.83 on overheads and general admin

Total spending of £114,582.14. That's up till 28/11/17.

actually there is one difference between scotland in union nad your man wings....

because scotland in union is governed under the same political donations act as the major parties... anything over a certain amount is declared and made public....

because wings claimed to be a private entity he decides not to declare where he gets any of his money from, and the size of any donations even though he has been asked time and again to.......

Posted the other day, the have ZERO knowledge on any of the subjects they post about. It's just parroting lines they see on Wings and then they show up their complete inability to actually discuss the matter at hand when questioned on it. It happens again and again.

trust me i know..... i caught them out when they tried having a go at corbyn and the labour party over railway policy... only not to know that it was the scottish government and transport who oversaw the entire process....

didn't know what transport scotland was....

didn't know that transport scotland was tied to the scottish executive

didn't know that the snp led scottish execuitve have overseen two set of scottish railway franchising......

didn't know that they had to oppotunity to reject all the bids if they thought they were against the public interest....

Bit filthy given you've continued posting on the other thread. Not surprised though.

Anyway....

Why didn't you go and ask Scotland in Union, where they spent their money? You asked here, on a thread about Wings fundraising. I've given you the answer so what was the reason for the question? Were you expecting everyone to say they didn't know and then use this as an excuse for the fact you know nothing about Wings spending?

Scotland in Union isn't a political party and neither is Wings but they both have to declare spending on elections. If you don't believe me then you'll have to ask yourself why Wings was fined by the electoral commission. Apparently the conman was going to challenge the decision in court but he didn't seem to bother for some reason

So anyway, the last 3 elections, Wings hasn't spent a single penny on them despite raising what must be close to a million by now. Nice 'work' if you can get it

Yes, quite happy to say that he's never been charged with anything.

That doesn't negate his murky past in the video games world, where his offensive and homophobic behaviour, is there in the public domain.

From what I can see, he embraces a cult behaviour pattern and needs to be controversial in order to keep himself in the public spotlight.

Others may say that for "public spotlight" substitute "public donations" but I'm sure it's all innocent and above board.

i just think that it is rich that he basically circumvents political donation law by using the "well i am a private citizen, so i don't declare anything" card... when berates others for being open and public about what they spend and over a certain amount donated who they get it from....

people could rightly say he is being a hypocrite because he is all for transparency, except when it comes to own political finances .... (and please don't say it isn't political, after all in which forum are you posting this....lol)

also i see nothing wrong with the question of "did you donate".... for example... in us law, I could donate up to 2700 dollars to any one campaign as a private citizen......

like i said... i donated between 1 dollar and 2700 dollars to the bernie sanders campaign... and thats all i have to tell you, heck i don't even have to tell you that if i don't want! but i am proud enough of my beliefs and convictions that i do.....

i may not ever get along with centy... but if he donated to VOTE leave, then good for him for having the conviction to follow thru on his beliefs.....

"did i donate" and "how much did i donate" are two completely different questions...

did i donate... sure....

how much did i donate.... none of your business...

would i donate in another scottish referendum.... if i thought that we are all better and stronger in it as a larger entity... why not!

The reason he hasn't declared anything is because there's been nothing to declare. His political spending in 2014 can be seen, so he does declare it (as he's legally bound to do)

It's very telling that he doesn't publish any accounts though. He just gives his followers a vague statement about him taking a wage, large web hosting fees etc etc. No actual figures and certainly nothing that's audited. I'm happy enough with all this though, as long as they fund his lifestyle it means they aren't actually doing anything that benefits their cause.
